What Parents Say
Breath of Life Academy receives mixed reviews with strong praise from most parents citing warm staff, cleanliness, educational quality, and affordable VPK/Gold Seal programs, but some recent reviews report operational inconsistencies, staff unprofessionalism, missing clothing items, inadequate diaper changing frequency, and confusing schedule information.
My kids love it here. The staffs are very good and patient with kids. I was referred by Britney from my work, whose daughter also goes here. They teach and instill good value in the kids. I generally run late from my work in St Pete to pick up my boys from the daycare and they are very cooperative and pretty understanding about it. We generally pack our boys lunches, because they are pretty picky eaters, but on days that we run late, the day care helps us out, and they feed them good too. The daycare staff know my late schedule so they really help us out by sending the boys home full. The boys are always looking forward to go their preschool in the morning. My younger one is pretty temperamental, but since he goes here, me and my wife we do notice a positive shift in his attitude.
I'm a single parent trying to make ends meet, so finding a good affordable daycare is definitely my top priority. My daughter is 3 years old, and she's real timid, so I don't just leave her in any random person's hand. I research a few daycare before deciding to pay this one a visit. The owner and staff were very warm and friendly, and gave me a thorough tour of the school. I visited another daycare close to my house, but this one has free VPK and Gold seal program, so I figure I'd go with them for my daughter's next year VPK.
This is a great daycare facility. My husband and I literally zig-zagged all across Tampa to find the right daycare for our 11 month old bundle of joy. It's our first child so we are pretty new to this daycare experience, and we want to make sure we leave our baby in safe hands! We drove by this facility a couple of times before we decided to stop by. The director was very knowledgeable and friendly, she gave us a tour of the facility and answered all the questions my husband had about the daycare. My hubby's analytical so he's got about a thousand and one questions to ask :-). I'm more like a visual person, so the moment I see the place, how clean and nice the inside is, and how friendly and helpful the teachers are, I feel very comfortable leaving my infant there. When I pick up my baby her diapers are always clean, and we usually don't have to feed her for a few more hours, so I know they took care of her well during the day. My husband and I are both very happy about this daycare service.
This day care is a great service. The admin folks are very knowledgeable and helpful. The teachers are very good with kids. My 2 sons love it here. They teach the kids good lessons too. My three year old can actually spell letters and count numbers. He's kinda advance, but it never hurts to have good teachers!
the hours are great, I love the teachers. My favorite part is that when I drop my son off (2.5 yrs old), he does not cry. Sometimes he runs right in to say hi to his friends without saying goodbye. He has cried when I leave with every other daycare and sitter. This is how I know they take really good care of him! So happy we found this place.
