My son currently attends this facility. His father attended growing up and though I was hesitant I decided to give it a try at his request. Though my son hasn’t attended long I can say that the staff has always been very nice and communication has been very easy. I appreciate that everyday they make sure he has a fresh diaper before handing him to me which is helpful for a parent that’s always on the go. He seems very happy and the staff seems happy to be with the babies as well. I definitely made a great choice with them.

Braswell CD is an excellent daycare! The teachers and staff are all very caring and friendly. My daughter is 2 yo and is a student of Miss Jones, both Miss Jones and her TA Miss Barbara are great! The center is always clean and filled with fun arts & crafts made by students. It takes a huge burden off of my shoulders to know that my daughter is not only somewhere safe but also surrounded by loving people who stimulate her love of learning. I'm very thankful for finding Braswell CD!!

This was the first daycare my daughter attended. She is 6months old and began back in august, at 4months. I’m sorry to say, I would not recommend this childcare. I understand this facility takes vouchers and therefore it is more affordable and convenient for parents HOWEVER, please consider your options thoroughly before deciding to send your child here (specifically infants, I cannot speak to the older children’s programs) The facility is not clean and this is apparent when you view the office and lobby. The area is unkept and not updated. filing is a mess and due to the volume of clutter to square footage I do believe it’s affecting the actual building itself. Several times I’ve picked up my daughter and she had old and dried poop in her diaper. She was always in a chair staring blankly into space upon pick up. Not her usual vibrant self. We constantly received clothes that didn’t belong to her to wash. They do not consistently give parents diaper change or feeding logs. Once , my partner picked her up and asked if she did well that day. The teacher claimed yes, she was great. We opened her bag and they’d sent home a grammatically incorrect note that she couldn’t return for 2 days due to diarrhea. While she was in their care she was constantly sick. She has had several sick visits and is now on an infant nebulizer. The pediatrician did blame the conditions of the childcare being the culprit for her stubborn cough and labored breathing. The final straw was her coming home with a bruise. We did not receive a call. No incident report. The bruise was long, thin, and purple. Very hard to miss. It looked like a pinch. Following, we never received any further correspondence from the facility. They never called to ask where she was. They never called to arrange pick up for her belongings. They knew why she wasn’t there and could not care less so long as I was not going to mention anything.
