I love the Boys & Girls Club and how they support children and families! They provide these kids with a loving environment and encourage kids to be the best they can. The staff is awesome, kind, compassionate and you can see it when the kids walk in that they love coming here.
Great organization!! The friendly and caring staff that cares for hundreds of our local kids every day and is so great for our community. The club has programs such as Art, homework help, technology programs, cooking classes, and so much more!! The Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County keeps our youth involved in sports with a positive environment!!
I have received both the member life and staff life. This club is truly horrible. As a member of the club I was forced to hang with people who didn’t like me and openly gave their opinions to me and the staff said they would fix it but nothing every happened. They also don’t care on the feedback they get. They did surveys to get feedback on the club but after my 9 years of being there nothing changed. It was the same money hungry club that didn’t want a bad word about the club. On the staff side my mother got a job their after I left about 3 years ago. Her new job had her stoked about the days to come but she wasn’t aware of the days to come. She was cussed at stolen from and hit on a daily basis. After about a week she told the manger that something needed to happen but she was told that the kids were testing her and they would change when they se she was tough. She continued for 3 weeks but nothing changed and she was miserable m. She had to quit because the kids were so terrible they made her cry. The club did nothing for her. I don’t recommend this as a job or a place to leave your child.
They're never opened on time. They website says opened at 6:30am. It's 7:30am and no one is here to open their doors and no alternative phone number to reach any one.
They made every excuse as to why my daughter could not attend. This is discrimination
