I have really enjoy my membership there. The people there are friendly and helpful. The staff encourages you to keep working towards your goals. Everyone is welcome and easy access with the elevator that will take you to each floor. The pool and facilities are clean too. I wish the weight room cycles and treadmill were a little updated but they get a lot of use. Give them a try, you will not regret it. I go every day they are open. Do wish they were open later on the weekend and Sundays but understand why they are not.
Potentially useful place.If you live in the general vicinity of the Boys and Girls of Western Broome and you have a disability, a walking limitation they discourage you and make no accomodations for you because you don't matter. There is only one way in the building and that is by foot. Yet the building is situated in a way that excluses ease of access by locals, waling elders and carwless persons with disabilities. You take your life in your hand to walk down a curbless, elevated road with cars. Memebership is down and they refuse to accept the fact that they sit with their backs to the community and closed to the public and the disabled has anything to do with it.
Fun place for kids and volleyball. Wheelchair friendly
I learned how to swim here. The teachers were super good at teaching.
