A huge thank you to the Boys and Girls Club for hosting the annual MLK ceremony. They do so much for our children on a daily basis but I wanted to call out this event. Each year the organize an event that truely reflects the inclusive spirit and goals of MLK. This is a great event for all in town. Thank you.
Enjoyed an hour of kayaking with friends. Lovely staff and a fun summer activity for all ages. We’ve always walked around the lake in Wakefield. Got treated to some nice views kayaking through it on a gorgeous summer day! We had the whole lake to ourselves 😊
Great experience here. Super friendly staff who helped my shy kiddo feel comfortable kayaking. Looking forward to returning! Priced well and beautiful lake to explore.
If your child(ren) has a disability, I would highly advise against sending them here. Staff will lock your child in a room for 8+ hours a day away from all the other children because they don’t want to deal with them. Refused to provide ADA accommodations or hire an aide to help alleviate the issue(s). Fortunately I’ve placed my children elsewhere, but just a warning to parents with children with disabilities!
