My child absolutely LOVES the Boys & Girls Club of Newark, and as a parent, I couldn't be happier! My son loves when he goes here! The club is great for kids of all ages and they offer swim lessons. Their swim instructor taught my son to swim!

This place is very unprofessional. They gave me a registration appointment two different times and never called. Then, when I called them to see what was going on, they told me it was no space and they were understaffed. I have been waiting for months, and now they have the location license, and there is no space. I expressed my interest since before school started. My child has been in this aftercare for years. They didn't even have the courtesy to call and let me know even though they knew I was waiting for them, I had to call them to find out. Aleast call and let me know so I can look elsewhere. I'm so disappointed.
Had the pleasure of having an appointment with ms Rosa for summer camp and she was very welcoming friendly and knowledgeable, i saw the other employees with positive attitudes as well definitely a good aura in that place. I know my child will be treated with respect and have good mentors every where he turns. They Have lots of activities lined up for summer camp this year.
