Born Learners

My daughter attends Born Learners and has fallen in love with it. My husband and I after returning to Agoura started our search for a new pre school. We visited a few in the local area. When we arrived at Born Learners for the first time, it felt like home. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and very inviting. We were impressed with their teaching methods, and their attention to detail. My daughter is excited each and every day to go to school. She has met wonderful friends, parents and teachers. Needless to say we highly recommend this school. If you wish for your child to have a place where they can learn in a positive, creative, and organized manner, then Born Learners is the school for your family. Born Learners where your child and family always come first.

We have been at Born Learners for 2 years. New to the Agoura Hills area, we began looking for preschools for my daughter. Born Learners was an easy choice to make. The owner, staff, and teachers are always warm, friendly, and welcoming to everyone, parents and children alike. They put time, thought and care into their programs, both for children and for family events. Their facility is clean, well cared for, and comfortable, but most of all their playground is a place your want your child to spend free time. I would recommend Born Learners to any family looking for child care or a preschool.

After jumping around to a few preschools, we found Born Learners-what a treasure! We do not live in Agoura but make the drive everyday because we feel that this is the most wonderful preschool. The staff and director are all incredibly warm, kind hearted, and are genuinely interested in what is best for our child. Everyone in our family is always greeted with big smiles. Our child loves to explore and imagine on the oak tree shaded play yard. He consistently comes home excited about learning and school. If only I were a preschooler again, this would be my dream come true!

What's not to love about Born Learners? From the director on down, the staff is nothing short of first rate. These are established pros that are passionate about early childhood education which means my kid gets the kind of attention he needs. We pulled our son out of another school in the area where he was treated the same as the rest of the kids. Nobody there took the time or energy to understand why he was upset all the time, so in less than a month we pulled him out and enrolled him in Born Learners. This was probably the best decision we've ever made for our son. He's now 110% happy and he loves going to school everyday. The teachers there really care, and they love to take the time with us as parents to share what they see. We feel like we know exactly what's going on in our son's world when we're away at work, and we know that he's in the most trusted hands our salaries can afford. Thank you Born Learners for helping us overcome a real parenting crisis!

Based on all of the reviews from several years ago this school must have been great at some point, however when my child went there that was far from the case. There has been an inordinate amount of teacher turnover in the past year with nearly every single highly-acclaimed teacher leaving the school. All of this turnover, coupled with the lack of experience of their newly hired teachers has turned this once great preschool into a glorified daycare center. Based on everything that has transpired at Born Learners over the past twelve months it is clear that the director is running this place into the ground and truly has no concern for the well-being of the children enrolled there. They have absolutely become a daycare while still claiming to be a preschool who's unequivocal top priority is profitability. The fact that three of their very best teachers all decided to leave within the span of less than a month is not a coincidence. Proceed with the utmost caution if you are planning on sending your child here. Do not let the five-star reviews fool you as they are all from four years ago.
