Parents report their children enjoy attending and thrive in the nurturing environment, with many describing it as a family-like setting that provides peace of mind.
Our child really enjoyed attending Blue Skies and butterflies. They are very flexible and when we were there they served meals which was very convenient and helped financially. The owner and staff were great to work with. Our child still talks about having gone there and we would have brought our youngest if we lived closer. Thank you for doing a great job!
We needed a safe place to take our daughter and we really lucked out by finding Blue Skies. They worked with us on many occasions when we needed special meal plans with the food we sent with her, extra flexibility for keeping her enrolled when we were exploring options, and lots of patience and understanding for our case. I'm so grateful for the year and a half plus our daughter was enrolled here because it was a place of calm and stability for her, and she was able to be herself and have fun. She grew so much while she was there and we miss the place and all her teachers. The facility is a great size, the staff were always good to her, the COVID protocols were followed whenever there was a concern, and I could always count on the staff to be an extension of my parenting style. Peace of mind for me and the kiddo always had a good time there.
My daughter has gone here for many years (3) without any problems, the teachers are caring and will communicate if any thing happened out of the ordinary. When I dropped off my daughter I knew she was in good hands. Teacher Kristen especially has a great amount of genuine empathy and caring which made me less sad when I had to drop off my daughter. And also how I know this place is excellent is because I listen to my child and they tell me lol! We’ll still drop in time to time just to say hello😊 even though my daughter doesn’t go here now due to summer and home with me. The owner Terri has also numerously helped us out tremendously and is always willing to take time and listen to your needs.
Couldn’t be more pleased. My daughter now 8 and son now 5 have been going here since they were 6 weeks. The staff has been consistent, for several years. Every child, and parents are treated as family. I would never change my daycare. Covid-19 has definitely taken a toll on our lives, Blueskies and butterflies has most definitely played a positive, structured roll during these challenging times. There is Covid-19 protocols posted on the door in each classroom as well as an illness policy and a holiday closure list. Every family I see in the mornings are smiling and happy to drop off. Thanks guys for being so awesome!
My husband and I both took time off work for a SCHEDULED tour today. When we arrived, there was no one in the office and the infant teacher just smiled at us. We waited awkwardly for a few minutes and then told her we were here for a tour. Another teacher came out of the infant room and snapped "What ages?" and I tried to explain that we didn't need care for another year, but our kids were currently 1 and 3.5. She snapped again, "What rooms do you need to see?" I was taken aback by her rudeness, so I asked for Teri (owner/director). She said Teri wasn't there and then told me to wait. She went across the hall (while a baby cried at the gate) and talked on an intercom for a few minutes. She came back and said Teri forgot about our appointment and was in a business meeting. She offered to show us around, but at this point, we'd seen enough. Between being stood up and the awful personality of this infant teacher, I would never trust this center with my kids.
