Blue Lick Child Care

We switched to this daycare after my last one closed unexpectedly and it was the best thing to ever happen for my daughter. I feel like my 4 YO is actually in school with everything they are teaching her. She gets excited at pick up to tell me the letter, numbers, words, songs, crafts, etc etc that she has learned for the day. At home she even pretend plays as her teacher. I know all the teachers by name and there seems to be little turn over (a big issue for most daycares). I also like how this facility has separate rooms for each age group- not a big open common area they are all in or "rooms" with half walls where you can still hear and see all the other classrooms. All the classrooms are completely separate.

I just want to say the director and her staff are absolutely amazing my sons were on the list to start there and there was a mix up at the school and he was sent on a bus there even though he hadn’t started yet. The director was so sweet about the situation, my son was very scared and she went ahead and got him off the bus so I could pick him up immediately and he wouldn’t have to ride back to the school. Best daycare in my area for sure!!!

I am extremely pleased with this center. My son started at a different center when he was 6 months old and it was the worst 5 months ever he has been at Angel House since November (5+ Months) and he has come so far. He learns something new every day and his teachers absolutely love and adore him . He always comes home clean and well kept! They keep me posted/updated on him and anything happening within the center . They have activities and picture days throughout the year . The playground is great! All of the staff knew us by name within a few days and they are always friendly. I’m so glad we made this switch ! Give them a call .. take the tour .. u won’t regret it

My kids love this daycare, we tried somewhere else for the summer and my kids cried all summer and picked up some really bad habits and behaviors. We're back at blue lick child care now and they are happy again. The teachers really know your kids and you can tell they provide a safe and fun environment for the kids. Definitely the best daycare in our area!!

Toured this daycare recently. Just want to say beware. There was a "teacher" who walked in stumbling with blood on the sleeve of her shirt. Clearly she was under the influence of hard drugs. I would suspect heroin given the size of her pupils and the glossy film over her eyes. She was slurring her speech and moving erratically. It terrified me. If the owner sees this, I pray that you drug screen your employees immediately w/o warning. Not to just drag this establishment through the mud but I am talking about the welfare of small children. So scary.
