Parents highlight the facility's ability to support developmental milestones like potty training and behavioral issues, along with open communication and flexibility in accommodations. The center is recommended for its professional, caring staff and positive environment despite the older building.
This place has gone down hill. If your child is going through a rough patch they are unwilling to make any changes outside of the normal schedule for them. They are under resourced and have high staff turnover. My child would not nap, and granted he needs to be on a cot during nap time per state law, they stuck him in a corner, behind a book shelf to keep him away from other kids. For every tough nap time he had they would make him bring a slip of paper with a red sad face star out to me at pick up. This destroyed his confidence. I pulled him out of there, and honestly I think that’s exactly what they wanted. They are unwilling to help kids going through a tough time. However the new place we’re at - it’s like night and day. They are willing to make accommodations for my child and he is so much happier. This place is run down, gives minimal communication, doesn’t encourage parents to come into the school. There are far better daycares around.
We have been pleased and would recommend BAE. Miss Myra is Awesome, and my 5-year-old gets SO excited about school. They keep them busy with a variety of fun activities and play. Pricing is fair, hours are great for working parents, and communication is open.
My children have been going there for years now! They do a great job! Preschool and charter kindergarten are great programs! The staff stays consistent and Mary Lynn the director is the best!
We found BAEB after having a very bad experience with another local daycare center. My son started going there when he was 14 months old and he even did his first year of Kindergarten there during Covid-19. I don't understand the reviews from people saying their kids are not cared for here. The staff at BAEB has always cared for my son and they helped us out with potty training our son, too. My son also did speech therapy with Help Me Grow and BAEB allowed the speech therapist to go there and work with my son so I didn't have to leave work (this was prior to Covid-19). One of my past coworkers was having issues finding proper care for her twins and I told her about BAEB and she enrolled them and they stayed there until they started school. My son is in school now but he still goes back to BAEB during the summer for care and he absolutely loves going there and has the best time ever. We really appreciate Mary Lynne and Mellisa and all of the other wonderful staff members we have me throughout the years.
My daughter loves going here and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the care that she gets. All teachers that we have met are extremely professional and friendly. They were able to make accommodations to my daughter's care and give daily updates on how her day was and what she ate.
