My 18 month old has been at BLS since he was 9 months old. We have unfortunately experienced very bad daycares in the surrounding area before, and we were hesitant to give BLS a chance. I thought daycares were hopeless. However our son has thrived at BLS and we feel very safe leaving him there. There is not a teacher there that doesn’t know a child’s name, or who their parents are. We are given proper communication about changes and expectations. They are quick to take accountability for concerns. I saw another review that mentioned they won’t allow potty trained children to use the restroom. If your child is not in the 2 year old room yet then, yes. There is not enough child to staff ratio to send every one year old to the potty. That is state mandated. Particularly when the pediatric standards aren’t to start potty training until they are 2.5 years old. Don’t believe every review you read without context. The staff and owner at this place work very hard to learn, adapt, and provide good care for your child at a reasonable price.

Our daughter has attended BLS GV for 3 months now and it’s been a transition for her coming from family to school. But the staff is so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend them. Our daughter has learned so much in her short period of time, it’s amazing. Cindy, Tiffany, Mallory, Nema, Tasha, Mallory and Danielle are absolutely amazing! I am sure there are others but these are the ones our daughter talks about most often! 🩷 Thank you so much for being so wonderful to our family! We appreciate you all more than you know!

My child was here for 4 days before being on the “3 strikes you’re out” list. 4 DAYS!! I let staff know ahead of time that she struggles with some behavioral issues due to some other things and they very rudely said “well the rules apply to all children”. 4 days after putting down my deposit she was expelled and not allowed to come back let alone I couldn’t get my deposit back. What did I get as I was packing her things? “Better luck at the next daycare because we will not be reapplying her”. HOW RUDE!! Parents, if your child struggles with their emotions and how to regulate them, this is not the place to go!

BLS has been a second home to our kids for almost 8 years! When we enrolled our oldest we could not have imagined the love and learning he would experience! It’s incredibly convenient with extended hours and care from newborn to school age, with before and after school + summer program. The director and staff are AMAZING! I know my kiddos are safe and loved and also really appreciate the investment the facility has made in upgraded technology with a communication app and key cards. Miss Danielle is always a favorite but we absolutely love the entire team! I can’t say enough about the culture, and staff retention speaks so strongly to this point. Soo many amazing teachers who have been on staff since we started in 2015!! Thank you BLS for loving my kids BIG! AND teaching them so much - I’m constantly impressed with the level of education that is provided as well! ❤️

I cannot say enough about BLS in Grain Valley! We absolutely love it! We had a rocky go for my 3 year old daughter to start since she had never been anywhere but we couldn’t have choose a better preschool to get her into. I could message after leaving and get updates asap, if she got hurt then I would get an update, or get an updates about events going on at BLS or the weeks coming up. My daughter loves all the teachers. But, we truly cannot thank Miss Tasha enough for making my daughter comfortable and being one of her favorites! Miss Danielle for spilling the beans about these kids, getting updates and being one of my daughters favorites! And Miss Tiffany always keep these children in line! BLS is doing a great job, my kid had learned so much, enjoys going to school each day, and is well prepared for kindergarten! There hours are very accommodating for early working parents.
