My Daughter started getting ABA services from Big Springs in Kinder. When she got into 3rd grade her IEP would not allow her to continue going to the school she was at so we moved her to Big Springs, she blossomed and graduated from there after 8th grade and is currently a freshman in public high-school. The tools she learned while at Big Springs definitely set her up for success

Big Springs was the miracle we had been hoping for! The staff is kind, caring and knowledgeable! My son made life long friends and they still stay in touch in their now 20s! They continue to make a positive impact for students and families each day! BEST SCHOOL EVER!

I have mixed feelings. And mean no harm in this review. I must be 100%honest. I wish I could give a raving review about this place but I cant. I could literally write a book about my son's time at this school, it was great for 3+years of his life. Unfortunately they did not fully keep all promises to us or we completely misunderstood each other . They were extremely helpful and went above for a time, but things changed dramatically when a transition to highschool age took place .I think it was because my son entered their program later than a group of other kids that started together years prior , so it always felt like he was left out of the favorites. And I'd be lying if I said that I didn't get that they had a special bond. I had a very good relationship with one person there for a time but that ended when my son aged up and moved on . We had a huge huge huge misunderstanding and that is when things fell apart for my son. Our ending of this program was very sad , instead of them helping to fight to keep my son and speak up (to the district) by saying what COULD help him and ask the school district for that , DURING AN IEP I LEARNED THEY DID NOT WANT TO CONTINUE SERVICES FOR HIM. Extreme hurt and shocked would be an understatement . ( The school district really needed to be told 3days per week is not enough and he needs approval for hours to come daily and there needs to be someone from the school district responsible for answering questions for that districts required studies ...instead I was blind sided by "we don't feel his 3days per week he is in attendance is working out so therefore we can no longer offer him our program" LIKE WOW AFTER 4 plus YEARS , NO LAST DAY , NO WE WILL MISS YOU GOODBYE, NO DO YOU HAVE ANYONE WHO YOU WANT TO SAY GOODBYE TO? I didn't even ask for this because they literally told the district that they did not want him. So what was the point.Extremely saddening that there was such a change from the Elementary side to the high school side. I will admit that there was a lack in communication for his time in the highschool side of the program. But I did not know how to fix it. The childhood side was at times extremely wonderful and I dare say perfect. I wish he could have started their program from kindergarten or whatever their entry age is and then grow from there but he started around 4th grade (as the district we came from would not tell us they even exsisted ). And I wish that their program continued as a similar type program up to high school . Im sure the high school side is great for someones child as it's set up to be a support program not really like an actual full blown highschool program. And the Elementary side could be a miracle for someone's child. I wish them all the best.
