Big Blue Marble Academy

I have so much to say about big blue marble academy in Roebuck ! Like the fact they let my nephew come home with black eyes and bite marks, not once, not twice, not even three times; ATLEAST FOUR I CAN THINK OF. Or the fact they NEVER make incident reports or call to let anyone know. Or the fact you have to fight tooth and nail to actually see the footage or even get the report. Or the fact the director hires staff that claims they “just walked into the room” or is on their phone not paying attention to small children/toddlers when these incidents happen. Or the fact they are money hungry and do not give a single thought about the children in their care. I truly hope that the director and other staff do not have kids of their own. Because if you don’t care enough about the kids, I can only assume the same at home. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic and disgusting. Do better. I would give them negative stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere that does care and doesn’t endanger your children and try to cover it up. 😊

I have had my fair share of bad daycare experiences, but this has been a dream come true in a facility. Any concerns I have have always been addressed in a timely manner, and the staff absolutely loves my daughter like family! She's been going here since she was 4 months old and is now a little over a year old. After the nightmare I lived with my son when he was in daycare (different facility), this has really been an answered prayer.

My children have attended here for years. They have felt like home! I love seeing photos of the activities my children are involved in within the communication app. I appreciate the sign in and out system they use, as well as the key fob technology for entering for safety!

Don’t think about enrolling your child in this daycare. I recently had as going to enroll my son but no one ever sent me the paper work like they said they would twice. The tour process is very quick . They just want money. I have sent them multiple emails to have my voucher ended so I can use it for the new daycare. They want release my son from their daycare like I asked them too. I now have to wait until Oct 26 and daycare is very expensive so now I’m paying out of pocket. They shouldn’t receive anything when my son didn’t even start there at all. You’re getting paid for not evening having my son in your center !

Don’t let the fancy facility fool you. The lady at the front is miserable. She kept saying “for a school aged child in aftercare” even though I told her my son was a two year old 46 times. I almost enrolled my son here and after reading the reviews I see I am not the only one who has had this experience. I get a childcare scholarship for my son (I am a single mother) after switching my scholarship to this facility they tell me I would still have to pay $200 a month out of pocket and $259 a week the first two weeks. I had to scramble and find another facility. I am just annoyed with the lack of transparency and rude staff.
