Beverlywood Montessori Preschool

I attended a tour this week and respectfully, this place is disappointing and leaves a lot to be desired. The biggest, loudest red flag is their snack menu: skinny POPCORN and RAISINS, two of the most commonly known choking hazards. The admin confirmed their snack schedule is up to date, and indicated “nothing has ever happened before” when questioned about the popcorn and raisins. Well, I’m glad none of the kids under your supervision have choked as a result, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen. Any decent preschool / day care would not endanger their littles. On top of that, the teachers looked tired and the playrooms underwhelming. I observed a couple of children practicing writing, yet they seemed dim and not as engaged or as happy as kids I’ve observed at other schools. No, I would not recommend this place. I would stay far away.

We have loved our experience with Beverlywood Montessori preschool. We can trust that our kid is nurtured, supported, and well taken care of by the team of warm teachers and staff. The community is also really lovely, we've made friends with the other parents thanks to the spirit of camaraderie the school fosters. Our eldest is not a native Spanish speaker but now speaks fluently thanks to his time here. He runs into school every morning happy to see his teachers and friends, and for that we are very thankful.

Beverlywood Montessori has been like a second home to our wonderful daughter, and now our son, for the past 3 years. As new parents looking for preschools, we wanted the very best for our daughter and didn't know what to expect. What we got was a wonderful, inclusive and engaging environment where our daughter not only learned so much, but also felt comfortable being herself. I cannot say enough nice things about this school. From the caring and patient teachers to the community of other parents, we have felt right at home here at Beverlywood. While every child is different, our daughter is heading into kindergarten already reading, doing math, and speaking and understanding Spanish. She has excelled here at Beverlywood, and I can already see our son on a similar path. I know looking for schools can be daunting, but please give Beverlywood every consideration possible because it is a great school with amazing teachers.

We joined Beverlywood Montessori in October of 2024 and instantly felt like we made the right decision for our little one. The school is clean and organized and the teachers and staff are friendly, attentive, and caring. We are in the Spanish immersion class and it's so awesome to see the progress our daughter has made since starting. The staff is great about keeping the parents informed on a daily basis through an app called Brightwheel. It's great to be able to see pictures and videos of our child during her school day. We know she's in great hands and do not have to worry. We are very happy at BWM and would recommend to any parent considering sending their child there.

My daughter is finishing up her three year long education at BWM and we could not have been happier with our experience. We specifically were seeking out a school that was highly educational, offered Spanish immersion, and had a friendly community. All three items could not have exceeded out expectations. Not only does my daughter speak more Spanish than I do, but I am constantly amazed by the math and writing activities she brings home. On top of this the school has a wonderful community. The teachers are all extremely friendly and attentive. Additionally the other families have all been amazing and we have made many good friends. This all speaks to the quality of the program at the school and the community it nurtures.
