Wonderful school I feel so glad I found Bethlehem when I was looking for a Kindergarten for my son. A totally loving and unique community experience.
We have 1 kid who attends Bethlehem school for the last 2 years and we have been incredibly pleased. We wanted a private school environment with a faith environment, small class sizes, and building safety was a big priority for us. Bethlehem has exceeded our expectations and we constantly talk about how grateful we are for Bethlehem! On top of that we really feel like our son is excelling at school and well ahead of his age group. We love the small class sizes and feel like he gets ample attention from each and every teacher. The community at Bethlehem is one of a kind and has been such a bonus to us…the parents are awesome and down to earth (always nervous about rigid parents at private school) and the staff is top notch. I truly can’t say that we have had a negative experience with any staff member in our two years. So grateful to have found this community!
My son has been at the ELC at Bethlehem for 3 years. The teacher communication is always quick and great! So much of the staff knows my son and they all make him feel known and loved. My son enjoys it very much and has learned a lot of skills since attending. They have many safety measures in place. There are also so many community activities to join in on. I have met many other parents and feel like we're actually part of a community. Lastly and the biggest selling point for us, is that Bethlehem shares the Gospel with the kids.
The pastor baptized my child without me knowing even though I was a member of the church. He didn't include me in the conversation with my ex-wife. Their PTL president testified against me twice, changed her story twice both were lies. Supposedly they're supposed to remain neutral after a divorce. I guess not.
This place is going downhill so fast they are hemorrhaging students. I pulled both of my kids and they are now thriving elsewhere. They act like public school is horrible, but my child was far behind after his transfer, showing they lack proper educational standards. We know of atleast 17 students who have lest just in the past year. They will tot small class size, but it’s only because they can’t keep students. Over the past few years we have noticed many things: - Nepotism -Gaslighting concerning bullying - Affluenza - Preferential treatment for the richer families - Bullying - Staff turnover at a high rate - Lack of diversity - Mistreatment and underpayment of the staff - Lack of both technology and special education - Safety issues - Steady decline in the state of the provided food
