Absolutely love this school. I cannot say more great things about it. When my oldest first attended Bethel, we were in a pinch. He had been kicked out of our previous school following a death in the family and we were already devastated enough. I came to Bethel and Mrs. Decker agreed to take him in on a trial basis. When I tell you my child BLOSSEMED. He began to completely change, behavioral and disciplinary problems we had at the previous school was gone. He absolutely loved going to school and he loved the teachers. When my youngest became potty trained I immediately enrolled him too. Mrs. Decker , her family and the teachers have been absolutely wonderful to us and have grown to love them as like a second family. My youngest will be starting Public School in Priceville in August, believe me when I say that I will TRULY miss coming to Bethel everyday. Bethel changed not only both of my sons' lives but also mine. I am so thankful for Bethel, Mrs. Decker, Pastor Bobby, Mrs. Carla, Miss Alana and ALL of the other teachers that my children have encountered over the last 4 years.

I have visited this church many times over, and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I have read a few of these reviews and think it would be beneficial for us as Christians to try and give churches a chance. What is fitting for one might not be fitting for another. Churches are run by people, and people are never going to be perfect. I like to focus on the bigger picture of GOD and the reason I attend church and send my kids to private school. OUR GOD is an awesome GOD. Allowing him to take the wheel when times seem tough or they do not reach the standards we set as humans for others. He has reasons for everything that we face, and how we handle it is on us.

Bethel Baptist School is a private, Christian school that teaches academic excellence and spiritual excellence. Bethel's foundation is based upon the Word of God and teaches the Bible in every grade, K3 - 12th. Bethel is staffed by some of the best teachers you will ever know ; these teachers care about each and every one of their students and put their heart into teaching their students everything they need to know to succeed. Bethel Baptist School is one of the best Christian schools in North Alabama. Your child will learn from the Bible and will excel in their all-around studies because of the caring, structured environment. You will not be sorry you placed your child at Bethel Baptist.

I moved to Moody in 2016 from Birmingham. From the moment I moved here, I have wanted my children to go here and attend the Wee Care. May 30th 2017 my oldest son started. Finally! Rejoiced with happiness. I had my second child on May 20th. I had confirmed with the daycare about a spot for my new little boy and oldest son back in Feb/March 2017. They confirmed I would have a spot at the beginning of August. Wonderful! The first week of July I started mentioning about my youngest son starting. No one would ever comment. I was finally informed that my youngest son did not have a spot. Talking about heartbreak. I was so emotional. What do I do? I passed up spots for both of my babies at The Gathering Place (Worst mistake). Sharon & Shannon "tried" to help. I was told the previous director had promised spots that were not legit. (Not my problem) Sharon talked to the Pastor on July 17th 2017 about opening another nursery room. Please note, the reason of this discussion was because I was not the only parent promised a spot. Multiple parents had been told their children would have a spot. Anyways, I was informed the Pastor ultimately said it could not happen. Here I am, July 19th, returning to work on July 31st, with no places for my babies to go. My job is very important, just like my Husbands. I am not privileged to get to stay home with my babies. My job is half the income. I provide BCBS insurance, through my work, for my family. I do not have family to watch my children. Bethel has left me with two weeks to find a daycare. Not possible. Talk about a Christian place. Tisk.
