My daughter is currently going into third and started at Bethany in kindergarten. She absolutely loves the school- it is a wonderful Christian environment that is very supportive and academically based. I can't say enough about how great the teachers are - they have high standards and the small classroom size makes everything worth driving the extra mile so my daughter can go to this school. I'm very confident in the staff - especially the principal who is very organized and strives to keep everything running smoothly. I very much appreciate the private's school ability to utilize grouping based on the child's academic level. The teachers are very personable and very keen to push my daughter to her full potential. Between sports and chess and music there are so many different opportunities for extra curricular activities at this school. I would highly recommend this school!!!
My son has loved his experience so far at BCS. It is a small community where the students seem to know almost everyone. The Christian environment is authentic and affects the way that students relate to one another and the way that teachers and staff nurture and discipline the kids. As parents, we have seen the difference being there has made in our son's character development and spiritual formation. The academics seem to be fine. It is not an elite academic school but I have seen at least at the lower grades (where our son is) that the students are getting a reasonable foundation for future learning. Where BCS excels is the overall care and concern the students are afforded--in classroom instruction, extra curricular activities and the great after school care program.
