What Parents Say
Bethany Academy receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from most parents, with praise for caring, professional staff and a welcoming, diverse environment. However, recent reviews highlight serious concerns about staff inattentiveness to basic child care needs, lack of professionalism following a director change, and inadequate potty training support.
I absolutely love this place. All the staff members are professional, loving and dedicated to giving the children there the best care possible. I love my son's teacher. She sends a progress report home with my baby every day outlining what they did during the day and when he was wet or went to the potty. My son runs into school every time we pull up. He has fun and learns a lot. I do not receive CCIS, so looking for an affordable daycare that provides excellent care was hard until I came across Bethany. I have zero complaints. Ms. Shuba is amazing!!
In one word it is a perfect place for you kid (regarding of its origin and culture) 👍 incredible staff and they are professional. They are making a lot of activities for the children. Your kid will love this place. Do not hesitate to send your kid if you are from different culture/country(meals are kosher/halal) and your kid will have international friends at the end 👏🙏🙏
My daughter attended summer camp for a few weeks as the bullying of students and lack of concern and professionalism by some staff became unbearable. The straw for me was when they went on a class trip and apparently no one wanted to sit next to my daughter. I was told a teacher would sit next to her so she wouldn't fee alone. My daughter sat alone going and returning from the trip. Needless to say the teacher obviously didn't want to sit next to my daughter either. Some people should not work with children.
Kristan was a great director! I totally see why this school has a 3.8 rating after her departure, so unorganized my granddaughter coming home with other students belongings it cost nothing to pay attention! 😔😞
The employees lack professionalism & experience! One of the teacher’s assistant acts like she does not like children & does not want to be there!🤦🏽♀️The preschoolers need a change of clothes, but the employees can’t touch the children even when they have an accident, nonsense...! My child’s clothes is just there for decoration & her pull-ups never get touched! When she is picked up, she is wet!🤦🏽♀️A child has an accident & the parent picks up the child & sees visible wetness on the boot, no excuse me, it was soaked!!!🤢No call & these people act like they did not know the child was wet! Come on, it doesn’t take a genius to recognize when a child is wet...🤦🏽♀️The director was no help neither! No apology, nor consideration, no nothing! Smh.... I seen several little mistakes in the past & overlook them, but this takes the cake!!! This learning facility was ok in the beginning, but lost some brownie points from me! Is it jealousy or is it because a child doesn’t like you or doesn’t want to be there for some strange reason & does not acknowledge you guys?🤔As far as learning, the children do not have homework & why aren’t the children learning how to trace their names in school? It is understandable to practice at home, that is what homework is for, but to lack the basics to be learned in preschool is pretty odd! The teachers & assistants are the people with the degrees & certificates to teach & train in early child education, not the parents! Whatever the case maybe still does not excuse the fact that there is inattentiveness to a child’s needs...!!!🧐The staff knew from the start that some children were not potty trained! If you can not handle potty training, then you should not except children that needs it!!! P.S. The administrator is even worst, (Tory Hagains), she is uneducated & nonchalant for the title she portrays...👌🏽
