What Parents Say
Beth Sholom Temple Nursery School receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents who praise the warm, inclusive community and quality care. Parents highlight the beautiful facilities, skilled staff, and strong Jewish values combined with welcoming inclusivity. One reviewer expressed concerns about the temple's liberal politics, though this appears to be a minority perspective.
Some of the greatest people in SM go to BSS. They are lively, funny, and inclusive. What could be said about that in addition is: they are truly in the spirit with the essence of Judaism. Thank you Cynthia and everyone else for the very fun trivia event, and of course your warm welcomes.
We have had the most incredible experience at Beth Shir Shalom with my son! He started preschool at 18 months old and I could not be more pleased with the care he has received at this school. I find it difficult to to trust my son with anyone other than family, and it was very important for us to find a school that we were comfortable with. Beth Shir Shalom has provided him with a safe space for him to learn, grow, and expend the endless amounts of energy he has. He loves school and is so excited to go every day! The facility is beautiful with a great outdoor space for them to play every day, and the classrooms are designed beautifully with just the right amount of stimulation for each age group. The administration is extremely knowledgeable and on top of everything that happens at school. I am so grateful for this school and look forward to sending my younger son in a year!
I love this place. We joined for the religious school over 20 years ago and then stayed for the warm and caring community that welcomes everyone. The young charismatic and dynamic Rabbi, who has been there for about two years now, was a great hire. We are blessed with a wonderful staff.
My mom, uncle, and grandparents have been going here forever and i went to preschool here and my sister is going there now. We are in the silver circle i think and my grandparents Joe and fern safier were just honored a couple of nights ago. Overall a great temple and great people.
I’ve been so proud to be a part of this congregation, a diverse sanctuary for multiple beliefs under the spiritual direction of Rabbi Neil. Music guides the services and justice for all peoples shines a light into the hearts of Judaism practiced here. If that sounds interesting to you, you’ll feel at home. If putting up walls and shutting people out sounds like a good idea to you, please join us and open your heart to the new. As Jews, we welcome the Stranger.
