My child has been attending Bess Knapp Child Development for a couple of months. I couldn't be happier with the care and education our child has received! The staff are warm, nurturing, and truly invested in each child's growth and development. A special shoutout to Teacher Melissa - she's been an absolute blessing to our family! My child can't wait to go to her class every morning and is always eager to share the fun activities done during the day. Teacher Melissa's kindness, patience, and dedication to her students are truly inspiring, and we feel so grateful to have her in our child's life. We also appreciate the hard work and dedication of Ms. Emily, Ms. Jenna, and Ms. Sam, who have all played a significant role in our child's education and care. Their commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment is evident in everything they do. The center's facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exploration. The educational programs are engaging, interactive, and aligned with state standards. What really impresses me, though, is the sense of community that permeates every aspect of the center. From the welcoming front office staff to the dedicated teachers and assistants, everyone is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment that makes every child feel valued and loved. Bess Knapp Daycare did a great job caring for all four of my children over the course of ten years. From toddlers in Daycare to the after school program, we were so happy with the care they received and the friendships they made.

All 4 of my children were blessed to participate in Bess Knapp Daycare's wonderful programs. One now has her Master's Degree and is serving in the mission field, another is in college at UTRGV, the third is playing football for Weslaco High's freshman team, and the fourth is playing football for Central Middle School. They've all excelled academically and Bess Knapp helped establish their successful learning foundation. Director, Erica Mata, is a wonderful, caring leader who gives back to the.community in countless ways. If you're looking for a childcare center in the MidValley, Bess Knapp would be a great choice.

I have had all three of my children attend Bess Knapp Daycare over the years, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. My youngest child was removed from their care due to developing sensory issues, as diagnosed by a doctor. However, the director at Bess Knapp dismissed the doctor's diagnosis, suggesting instead that my child was just being spoiled. I am appalled by the director's lack of professionalism and empathy. Not only did she undermine a medical professional's diagnosis, but she also implied that my child's legitimate struggles were due to poor behavior. This is unacceptable and indicates a severe lack of understanding and capability in handling children with special needs. It feels as though they gave up on my daughter too quickly, or perhaps they simply were not equipped to handle her issues. Either way, this reflects poorly on Bess Knapp Daycare. Parents trust daycares to support and nurture their children, especially when challenges arise. Unfortunately, Bess Knapp failed us in this regard. I hope this review helps other parents make an informed decision. We entrust our children's care to these facilities, and it is crucial to choose one that is competent and compassionate. In our case, Bess Knapp fell far short of these expectations.

I'm shocked at the low reviews! This place is the absolute best place to take your kids.. both my daughters attended this daycare and have taught them sign language, about Jesus, manners and so much more! I love the staff and my daughter truly enjoys her daycare! My daughter runs every single morning to class that's how excited she gets for daycare! 💖
