I thought long and hard about writing this review. I pulled my child from their center due to mistreatment that could be constituted as abuse. The incident was reported to both center directors by the main teacher in the room, and no disciplinary action was taken against the employee. In addition, during my child's very short 2.5 month tenure at their Belleville campus, my child had at least 5 different teachers. I also had the director lie to me when I asked her point-blank if my child cried when one of their teacher's hit my child's head on a cabinet. After I left, I have heard several very worrying reports. 1. Employee vaping in classrooms while holding children, multiple times, with zero disciplinary action. 2. Employees forced to sign nondisclosure agreements upon hire. 3. Employees with disabilities that preclude them from holding children, holding children. 4. Employee fired for "gossip" which I believe means fired for telling me these reports. Please reconsider enrolling your children in any of the Little Woodland Preschool Campuses, but especially the Belleville Campus.
From the curriculum to the staff every aspect is exactly what our family looks for in a preschool. The teachers, new director, an the entire leadership team- the communication has improved tremendously in the past 3 months! We are so thankful we found such an amazing preschool to send our littles ones to.
Awesome staff! My daughter looks forward to going there every morning! Excellent lunch menu for the kiddos too!
My grandchildren go to Little Woodlands. I have seen very positive changes in both of them. The staff really cares about them.
I was so nervous about sending my almost 2 year old to school. I wasn’t sure that he was going to adjust but after only a few weeks I’ve seen such a positive change in him. He went from crying all day to absolutely loving school! His confidence is growing and he no longer needs his comfort items. His teachers are absolutely amazing and you can tell how passionate they are about the kids and their jobs. I am confident that my son would not have adjusted so quickly if it weren’t for them! Also, the food menu is great. No wonder he loves it so much! Can I eat there too?! I feel confident that my son is being taken care of while he’s gaining vital life and social skills. He’s talking, laughing and interacting with his peers so much more now. Thank you little woodland preschool for all that you’ve done for my son!
