Guidepost Montessori at Aurora has been an incredible experience for my 4-year-old and our family. The staff and teachers are deeply caring and invested in each child's growth and development. My child has gained so much confidence and independence. The hands-on curriculum has fostered a love for learning. Seeing my child thrive academically and socially in such a nurturing environment is incredible. The campus is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity and exploration. I also love the emphasis on life skills and how they teach children to care for their environment and each other. The Spanish language immersion program has been a fantastic bonus. I can already see how it has expanded my child's abilities. I always feel informed about my child's progress and day-to-day activities. I can tell that everyone at Guidepost is dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring environment for every child. I wholeheartedly recommend Guidepost Montessori at Aurora to anyone looking for a school where their child can flourish. Watching my 4-year-old grow into such a confident, capable, and curious learner has been a joy. I couldn't be happier with our choice!

Our family did not have a good experience at this location. It started out well then progressively got worse in a short amount of time. My son used to scream and cry saying he didn’t want to go to school. He would say he is scared to go to class. It would be a battle most days having to drag him in. I would see other kids his age sometimes act the same way and thought it was likely just separation anxiety. There was a lot of turnover at this school in our short stay (Aug 2023-April 2024) We started to notice a big change in our son’s behavior soon after a new director started. There were lots of changes happening and my son’s behavior progressively got worse. We would have to drag him into the classroom and he would throw tantrums not wanting to come to school. He then learned if his behavior was bad enough they would call me to pick him up. I now realize he was intentionally trying to get out of there. That he was miserable and not supported. He is at a new school now and I’ve never seen him happier. He is thriving and can’t wait to go each day and we don’t have any issues. I have been able to talk to some other former guidepost Aurora parents that also had similar and disappointing experiences. I hate that my son suffered for so long until we finally pulled him out of there. I believe there were too many issues, not enough staff or support at this location. I felt my son and our family were not supported and we felt targeted in many ways. Save your money. I do not recommend this school at all.

Parents and Potential Enrollees BEWARE: You should know this place is NOT run by the same people that received the good Google reviews making it one of the more attractive child care options. For context, my child was not a student at Guidepost yet; we were prospective parents who have been taken advantage of and are now out a $1400.00 deposit because we didn’t notice the most recent reviews about poor child experiences, poor leadership and mismanagement at Guidepost. This place seemed great on the surface. We spoke with the director, toured the facility, and liked the program. My wife and I decided that when we had the funds, we would sign our child up. Fast-forward six months and when we were financially ready as a family to afford daycare, we called Guidepost to sign up. They GLADLY, took our money (a $1400.00 deposit to be exact, no small amount) without informing us of a recent change in their leadership and exodus of their existing employees. My dad senses were tingling because something felt off, so I looked into the Google reviews again. To my surprise, there are several poor reviews referring to the effects of the leadership change, outlining traumatizing experiences for children as a result. Long story short, I informed the school my child would NOT be joining and asked for my money back from them due to the lack of transparency and shady business practices. I never heard back from them; now I am sharing my experience to help others avoid a similar fate. Do your due diligence as a parent and a customer. Guidepost Montessori Leadership: this is a lesson in the power of customer reviews. I would rather you take my $1400 and never get another dime from me, so that I have the piece of mind that my child is safe and well-cared for.

My daughters absolutely love going to this Montessori school! This school is structured very well and my kids are constantly learning new skills. As a mom, I was very concerned about leaving my kids at school for a full day, and the staff really did an amazing job with helping me and my daughters adjust to a new school, making sure they were comfortable ever step of the way. The teachers here really care about their students. I cannot recommend this school enough.

We had such a terrible experience at this school. It started off positive, but over time, we realized just how awful it is. The classes are overpacked with kids who are stressed out and disorganized. We left this school 6 months ago, and in kindergarten at public school she has learned more in 6 months than she has her entire time at Guidepost. There are teachers who you can just tell hate what they're doing. Their dislike towards some of the children is palpable. My child had so many behavior issues that we tried to get to the root of, that magically went away when we left the school. I feel bad that we sent our daughter here and that she had to go through being there.
