Ms. Jen runs an excellent program. She genuinely cares about the kids, and all of my daughters love their individual teachers. Ms. Jen makes a special effort to treat each child as an individual. She is always easy to get a hold of and she is open more often than most. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Do not recommend at all. They don’t turn their lights on to save money. If you have any sort of problem, the owner gets defensive and tell you she “has a line out the door and can fill your child’s spot instantly” or “the state says I can.” Much better, quality places in town to send your child!
My granddaughter goes to Grow and Learn located in Hannibal. Earlier today, Monday April 1st, 2024, My daughter went to pick my 5 year old granddaughter up and found her sitting alone on the toilet with poop on her hands, face and her back as well as on the wall. My daughter was told that My granddaughter was having a bad day and was crying and was made to take a time out and sit against the wall While in time out she asked her teacher Andrea if she could go to the bathroom she was told no. My granddaughter ended up pooping in her pants. The teacher then took her to the bathroom where she left her alone to clean herself up. While she was trying to clean herself she made a mess in the bathroom and got poop on her hands and face. No one was with her, she was left alone to clean herself up. Her mom was the one who cleaned her up when she got to the school and found her. She has never once pooped her pants in the last 2 years. It was all over her hands, her face, and up her back. The owner, Jennifer, (the owner of the daycare) said Andrea did not know how to handle the situation and was busy cleaning up toys. She’s also said that Andrea said she had smelled something 30 minutes prior. Jennifer also told my daughter that she has received other complaints about Andrea there is no excuse for leaving my granddaughter alone to clean herself up. I am furious and feel so bad for my granddaughter. I am posting this to see if there is anyone else that has had a bad experience at this school and also so maybe something like this won’t happen to another child
Grow and Learn has always been great for our family! They have reasonable prices and the owner and educators have been very helpful with any requests we had.
They don’t care about your kid. They are rough with children and neglectful. Please save your worry and your child’s dignity. They do not understand the importance of a child’s development.
