Beginners First Academy

I have gone through the girl scouts directly to resolve this matter when it happened. Please do not contact me any further. Thank you! The owner was my daughters girl scout leader, during an girl scout event at her "academy" my daughter did a few crafts which my husband brought to the car because we did not have enough hands to hold it. She emailed me days later to tell me we did not abide by girl scout policies. I asked what was meant by this and she called us dishonest and not respectful because my husband and son grabbed snacks and juices as everyone else was. Then she went on to say my husband brought food to the car which is nonsense. If this was true, one would immediately address any concerns that arise. I offered to send pictures of the plates my daughter created and she blocked me and neglected to answer my email. I am extremely upset about how she treats people and one such as this should not be allowed with children. After reading the comments of the "academy" being racists, I completely understand now. My husband is white and black and has a tan to his skin. As a teacher myself I would be ashamed of this behavior. It is heartless and frankly disgusting to treat people like this.

We toured 12+ daycares in the area. We were extremely selective about the facility, program, and staff we trusted with our little one. BFA checked all the boxes and never stopped improving their program the 2 years our daughter has been there! The staff is SO caring and patient. Our daughter had communication delays and they worked with us through it all. The food program is great! The staff is great with communicating daily events and posting pictures. We always leave our daughter and feel confident she will have a great, fun day.

I am not sure where to even start. Beginners First Academy has done so much for us. This place has become a second home for us. They were extremely welcoming from the very beginning when our daughter was first attending in the middle of the year. I shared my concerns and fears(first time mom, I had a lot lol) and they put all my worries at ease and made sure to always keep me in the loop throughout the day. Everyone there from the directors to the teachers and even their landscaper are amazing. They truly know how to help get your kids ready for school and put a parent’s mind at ease. Helped so much with the potty training which I felt was our biggest struggle but they assisted and made sure to match with our schedule and training method which helped tremendously. We can’t wait to continue to come back every year for Summer Camp! Huge shout out to Ms. Sydney for being a part of our kids Journey from the very first day we stepped in there to do a tour of the school. You really go above and beyond!💛

When I was a first-time mom, I remember feeling so anxious about sending my then 15-month-old to daycare. But from the very first day, the staff made us feel welcomed and supported. We've had both of our children at BFA over the past four years, and they truly love coming here. It's also a testament to how special this place is that many of the same caring staff who taught our first child are now teaching our second. I recommend BFA to anyone looking for childcare in the Hamilton area!

My family and I have entrusted the team at BFA with caring for our family for 4+ years and we couldn’t recommend them more. The care and love they show our children has always assured us that they are in good hands & confirmed by the love our kids have for their teachers and friends at BFA. Highly recommend, and am forever grateful for this establishment!!
