Begin With Us Child Care And Preschool

From the moment we walked in, the welcoming teachers made us feel at ease and the bright classrooms were inviting and well organized. The playground is safe and fun, giving the kids plenty of space to explore and play. We appreciate the healthy snacks that are provided every day—they’re always fresh and kids love them. The extracurricular activities are varied and keep the children engaged beyond the regular curriculum. It’s clear that the staff focus on early childhood development and kindergarten readiness through play‑based learning. As a parent searching for “Preschool Near Me,” I’m happy to have found a childcare center that truly cares about every child’s experience. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of teachers and staff for our children.

We absolutely love Begin With Us. Our son went there as an infant and all the way up through the Preschool program. He now looks forward to attending summer camp every year. The staff make camp so much fun! It is a great place for kids in the summer. I love that they do field trips to fun places! I highly recommend them!

1 star ONLY because 0 stars is not an option, unfortunately. My daughter has been going to this school for 2 years. I never really had an issue UNTIL this year. There have been MULTIPLE instances with other kids' behavior and the staff not taking it seriously. But now I am having major issues with the staff. During this past week there were 3 days IN A ROW where at pick-up, I had to sign incident reports due to my child getting hurt. The first time a kid threw a rock at my daughter's head, when she told her teacher they apparently saw no red marks and told her to go play. I did not find this out until after we got home and she was crying to me because her head hurt.. turns out she had a giant bump on her head where she got hit. SO NOT ONLY did the school fail to let me know that this happened but they also NEVER made an incident report. The next morning I called and told them I wanted a report made and when I went to pick my child up the teacher, Miss Patti told me it was very "senseless" for this report to be made which is such a strange thing to tell a parent when their child got hurt under their care. Anyways, the 2nd day there was another report for me to sign. This time a different kid kept running into her and knocking her down. My daughter had asked the child to please stop and he wouldn't so she went to the teacher who claimed they never saw this happen. The 3rd day at pick-up, there was another report because another kid kicked my daughter and left a bruise. The teacher yet again "saw no marks" and didn't witness this happen either. I IMMEDIATELY pulled her from this school. You all need to do better! As a parent this angers me and breaks my heart that my child had to go through this and didn't have a teacher to help or even care. I DEFINITELY DO NOT send my child to daycare for this to happen!!! ESPECIALLY 3 TIMES!? It's pretty sad when a former teacher that used to work here told me that some of the teachers treat these children poorly. I also want to note that when the kids are outside playing, there are no teachers in the back of the playground where the little pavilion is to supervise these children. As a company you all should be ashamed and you ALL need to do better! 😡

(nonverbal four-year-old)…….I would give a 0 if possible … Not sure why some of these “teachers” are in this field .. My grandson would go without lunch for weeks “Not notifying us” because they refused to fallow THE DOCTORS PROSCRIBING ORDERS.!… WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO BRING IN A LUNCH FOR HIM ..”ILLEGAL” SEEING IT WAS A HEALTH ISSUE AND DOCTORED ORDERED ….!…. My Grandson would cry in the mernings and fight not to go here .”something just didn’t feel right” So I went into a meeting with this facility only then did I understand they had no clue what they were doing and knew nothing of laws… Rightfully Removing my grandson from this facility And placing him in another school, which he now is so excited to attend, giving no problems of waking up getting in line or going to school… I recommend anybody that has a child in this facility to make sure their child is safe and OK..Trust me they are not okay a lot goes on in this facility that is just not OK….

My son attended Begin With Us Child Care and Preschool. He loved going each day and the staff are wonderful. The facility is beautiful and is always kept up to date with everything. The owner and staff take great pride in making sure that the children are taught what they need to know for their next step in their school years. The curriculum that Begin With Us follows is always aligned with the early learning standards established by PDE. I highly recommend Begin With Us.
