Bear Foot Lodge Private School

After my child was hospitalized from catching RSV, Rhino/entro, and hand foot and mouth from this daycare management was very laxed about altering patents to the spread of a virus in their facility. I asked how they were altering patents of the outbreak since I hadn't received any notifications. Veronica the manager responded they post a notice on the door to get classroom since in the past email and their app. weren't helpful. Even though we are emailed and messaged on the app. about everything!!! Also, considering that the infant classroom is separate from the big kids those parents would never see the notice. Since the teachers take the infants on buggie rides around the entire building the air born virus is all over their facility. When I alerted the second manager Ashley her response was she hadn't had time, (even though i alerted them 4 hours prior to this conversation) and that her kids have had RSV and they did fine. This is not what I wanted to her while my daughter is in the ER on oxygen support and still struggling to breath. This was also on a Friday so the patents were taking their babies home not knowing they could be infected with a potential life threatening virus for there newborn babies. The front office/management like to pretend to be nice but guarantee they trash patents when they leave. Victoria and Kimberly in the infant room are Great and truly care about the kids they watch and are the only reason we stayed for so long. Kourtney who is the "lead" for the infants is not helpful. She never knows what happened with my daughter throughout the day and I have caught her talking trash about a parent when I went to pick up. I truly hope no other kids end up in the ER like mine did since I don't know if parents were ever told.

I love Bearfoot Lodge! It was recommended by a friend who had her kids in this place for years. My son has been going for a few months and we are very happy. We love the staff in the morning. Phyllis always great us with a smile and shows genuine interest in the kids... The director has been very accommodating to our requests and has been very flexible... And we love the teachers! I love miss Amy and miss Ali and my son sends them kisses when we leave the classroom. They genuinely care about each kid in their class and they treat them with respect... Sometimes, when it's time to go home, my son does not want to leave

I absolutely love beatfoot lodge in sachse!!! The staff truly treats my kids like they are family!! I'm always informed about what's going on in the daycare as far as activities are concerned and just overall within the community! I have three kids that attend and they will remain there til otherwise!

My son attended the infant classroom for 6 months. He was well taken care of and always seemed excited to see his teachers!

We LOVE Bearfoot Lodge. We enrolled our girls (after visiting a few other schools) December 2017. The director, assistant directors, and teachers are very caring and treat our twins like family. (Quick example: one of my girls tells everyone that will listen to her that her teacher says she draws really pretty... She feels proud and loved.) I know when we drop the girls off in the morning they are in great hands and I do not have to worry. When we pick them up they are happy and tell us all about their day. They have also learned a lot of amazing things. They seriously know more about some animals than I do. (Ha!) on top of the awesome curriculum and caring teachers & directors- they truly go above and beyond. 2020 was crazy, but my kids have felt some normalcy thanks to their amazing and well thought out (and safe) activities. They put so much time and effort into everything they do, and we appreciate them more than they will ever know. Long story short- our family definitely recommends Bearfoot Lodge Preschool, Sachse.
