Bear Essentials Academy Next Generation Kids

Ever since moving to Salt Lake County, I’ve struggled to find a Daycare that I am 100% comfortable leaving my baby at. The ladies that run the daycare is a mother and daughter and long term friends. So you have dependable and safe ladies nurturing your babies while you’re at work. Any time a problem does arise they take immediate action and follow up with a detailed follow up and answer all your questions throughly. They constantly are adapting and always improving and take parents concerns extremely seriously. I’m so happy I found a Daycare that treats my baby like family instead of another number. Wendy the owner of the day care has been an amazing person to get to know and I appreciate the love and environment she offers to the children at her facility. If you’re looking for a daycare who has an inviting clean environment, with mainly long term employees, at an affordable rate this is the perfect daycare.

Bear Essentials Academy has been a true blessing for our family. All three of my youngest children have gone through BE since infancy, and I cannot say enough good things about the environment, the staff, and especially the incredible teachers, including Mrs. Giti, Wendy Jones, Mrs Britney Futch, Mrs Cindy and the owner, Wendy Pendleton. From day one, I have felt complete peace knowing my kids are safe, loved, and truly seen for who they are. What sets BE apart is the partnership they create with parents. As a working mom, I often wish I had more time to stay home and be fully present for my children during the day. Bear Essentials fills that gap in the most meaningful way. The teachers, like Mrs. Jones, support and reinforce the same values and parenting style we use at home, which brings such consistency and peace of mind. I genuinely feel like we are on the same team, raising these children together. Even when concerns have come up over the last six years, I’ve always been met with a listening, compassionate ear—never defensiveness or resistance. We work together to find solutions that make me, as a parent, feel safe, heard, respected, and prioritized. The staff takes a personal interest in my kids’ growth—emotionally, spiritually, and academically. They challenge each of my children at the right pace, even moving them into more advanced curriculum when they’re ready. Giving extra hugs when needed on the mornings that are hard, and paying attention to emotional needs. That kind of individual attention and care is something you don’t often find. Communication with the school is excellent—open, transparent, and always thoughtful. I always know what’s happening in the classroom, and I feel like a true partner in their education and development. Bear Essentials Academy isn’t just a school—it’s a village. And I’m so grateful my children have had the chance to grow up here.

My son has been attending this daycare for over 2 years now. It's been such a great place for him to learn and grow. The teachers and staff have been amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about the kids, and are very kind, friendly, & understanding with parents. I am grateful we enrolled him into Bear Essentials.

We have taken our 2 kids there for a year now and they love it. Kenzie and Tabbie are the best. You can really tell that they love the kids and work well with them. They are always very patient and loving. My son first started out in the baby room and a couple of the teachers are really sweet. You can tell some of the staff in the facility are a little more strict with the kids and are there for the job. But there are more teachers there that are really sweet and loving with the kids. Wendy usually gets back to me quickly through texts. They do a Christmas concert with the kids that was so much fun. They also have the kids do a lot of activities and craft making. They let you take your kids art home with you. They also teach the kids songs, numbers, alphabet, animals, etc. Its a really nice place and I never feel anxious leaving the kids there. The facility has always been clean and organized. You should take your kids here because you found a nice place!

Bear Essentials have been the best place ever to take my son they really do care for every child there as their own, there has been some rumors about a previous employee that no longer works there, I have never worried about taking my son there and never will, I highly recommend going here you will not be disappointed.
