Who ever drives your buses drives as if they own the road and are impaired visually. Get better drivers. Also, ensure that you are actually spreading the word of god as it is intended and not spreading misinformation and attempting to take advantage of the times we live in I would greatly appreciate it.
Great church. Our family visited here on a Sunday night while in town and were warmly greeted by Pastor Rabon and assistant Pastor Harris. The church family were also very friendly and made us feel at home. The nursery is first class and our children enjoyed it.
I am working remote in the Triangle with three colleagues from Portugal. We decided to attend Beacon Baptist Church today. From the parking lot to the Sanctuary, we were were welcomed by at least six members - including Pastor Rabon! My colleagues were raised Catholic so, were apprehensive about a Baptist church. During the service, seeds were planted, and following, they have nothing but good things to say about their worship experience. Thank you, Beacon Baptist!
My daughter and I relocated to NC in January of last year. We took time researching churches and narrowed down our search to THREE churches in the area. We decided to try out Beacon first, because when we reached out to the three churches, they were the first of the three to connect with us. (Good Sign) Anyway, we came to the church on a Wednesday, I believe, and after picking up my daughter from the KidLife (Children's Church), I asked her what did she think. Her reply: This is our church! (She was 10 at the time). And we've been here since that moment. Its a bit larger than I'm accustomed to, but, it feels like home. The people are kind, and genuine, and the pastor preaches from the Bible. I feel like God has placed me at Beacon for a reason, and I've learned and grown so much in the short year (almost) that I've been here. I can't wait to see what God has in store for our church until His return..
I've been a member since childhood and love the church! Sunday school teachers and church school teachers went out of their way to guide me in my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Rabon was my youth pastor, and so much of what he taught me as a teen I implemented into my life. Both he and his wife have had a major impact on me, and on my decision as a young adult to go to the mission field. Beacon Baptist Church sent me 11 years ago and I'm still here, thankful for the support and encouragement and prayers of the people of the church. God is so good in providing the Raleigh area with this church that cares about souls and loves people individually. I pray that it will remain strong in the faith, always that light shining in a dark world. (My children, who have only ever been able to attend a few months while on furlough, absolutely love Beacon, Pastor & Mrs. Rabon, their teachers, and their little friends. They are always asking when we can visit again!) If I could give a rating of "10," I definitely would!
