Bccap Head Start Child Dev.Center/Infants & Todders Program

I thought I was gonna love it here for my son. But its just OK. Head start has just been a headache for me, theyre off more days than they even attend. Random changes in the original calendar. Feel like I was better off keeping him in a daycare, atleast I wouldn’t have to stress about finding a sitter almost every Friday! While they have an “in service” day. They have more in service days than the regular schools do. They’re so inconvenient at times with their many sudden early closings. There’s a reason I choose ‘extended day’ I have to go to work. Not all office staff are friendly, only a handful. They do nothing for Holidays or birthdays, I wasn’t even able to bring in cupcakes for my son’s birthday. Overall, headstart was a complete disappointment. Glad my son will not be returning next year.

I use to like it a lot,my 15 year old when there but now my three year old goes there and I’m no very happy first the bus driver she’s very rude and she’s not very nice with the kids either I’m sure if they check the bus cámaras they’ll see what I’m talking about,I saw how the bus driver was yelling at my son for no reason when I confronted her she denied when I was right there I email the school but they didn’t do nothin, thank god they have a new program in Howard yokum and I feel that my kids are better there

I loved this school for my daughter. She learned so much.
