What Parents Say
Bayside Lutheran School receives mixed reviews. Most parents praise the warm, caring teachers, smooth transitions, engaging curriculum, and strong communication. However, some parents report serious concerns about staff professionalism, lack of proper credentials, inadequate response to complaints, and bullying issues.
Children love places where they feel comfortable and happy, and so it is with my daughter, she loves this school so much that now that she is going to Kindergarten she cries knowing that she will go to another school 🙁 and we as parents feel calm when she is there, they learn so many things and all the teachers are professionals with each one of them, the location is very good and a very nice and quiet area… The school offers several events throughout the year where parents can participate, sending daily updates of what your children will be doing, 3K and 4k for our daughter and us as a family, it was a truly exceptional experience. Without a doubt my second son will go there I highly recommend it ❤️ My daughter was in 3-K and Pre-K, and I love how, from day one, they gradually prepare us, both the children and us, the parents. They make the transition truly smooth! My daughter loved going to school every day!
My daughter attended 3K and 4K at this school and I have nothing but exceptional experiences here. The principal is incredibly involved in all aspects of the school. Teachers Mrs Zihal, Ms Rachel, Ms Hundt and Ms Dawn fostered an exceptional early foundation. They truly truly care for all the children, are incredibly warm, loving, communicative and fun. We have enrolled our daughter in their camp as well as we had a great experience last summer at their camp. I cannot recommend this school enough and I’m eternally grateful for taking care of our daughter.
My Son is enrolled in 3K and he loves the school and teachers. Mrs. Zihal is very dedicated, patient, organized and professional. It is so easy to communicate with her via class dojo and we loved daily updates of the photos/videos and curriculum highlights. Ms. Rachel is so kind, caring and artistic, and Ms. Ariel’s class is really fun and exciting to participate. School offers various wonderful events family can participate. End of year event with arts show was beautiful and it made us feel very special and important. We look forward to my son’s first summer program at the school and another great year in Pre-K next year.
Horrible horrible school. Mr C was a unprofessional irresponsible, unkind person, while teachers looked on ,and when I brought it to the owners attention all she did was scream and rant like a crazy woman and hung up on me. I requested an apology rom Mr C he apologized and said he was playing a game with my son of stomping on his feet and holding his foot until my child fell on the floor Mr. C was over 300 pounds at the time I would give this school no stars for not protecting students and hiring a man with no educational credentials nor the child abuse mandatory classes!!!
Avoid at all cost! The Lutheran school was horrible to my child as well as Warren C. Mr.C..He lacked educational certifications at the time my child went and he didn't have a degree in education. He was UNQUALIFIED to be an educator/ Principal. He was rude to the children and he had poor disciplinary habits. While there were a few good teachers like Ms. K and Ms hunt, Ms Hassolhoff would turn a blinds eye to those students who received poor treatment, There were students in the school that was left back and the parents were never made aware of it until the student showed up for school in September. The Lutheran School should be avoided at all costs.
