Bay Kidz Academy

This is the first daycare center I recommend to anyone!! The kids learn really fast and she only allows the best employees to work here. I love that when I bring my children I don’t have to worry about an unsafe environment. Ms. Genie will work just about anyone who’s reasonable when it comes to the needs of your child, she’s awesome!! The place is always clean! My son is 5 and he’s been with bay Kidz since he was 6 months, my daughter is 2yrs old and fully potty trained. If you want your child at a place that’s not just in it for the money, this is it !!!

My daughter has been enrolled at Bay Kidz for almost a year, and we have had a great experience there. The staff keep the kiddos on a routine which provides needed structure to their days. Any time I’ve ever had a question or concern, Melissa has taken care of it immediately. They are one of the few childcare centers in our area that take COVID precautions (or at least that’s been my experience). The staff also spend time playing with and teaching the kiddos. My daughter is not yet 2, but she already knows most of her colors and can count to 10. She loves “Missy,” her teachers, and her classmates. She never cries at drop offs, and she’s always excited to go to “school.” (If anything, she leaps out of my arms! I guess Bay Kidz is just more fun than Mama. 😂)

If I could give this place no stars I would. This is by far the worst daycare I have ever dealt with, and I now understand why it's only three stars. The owner and the woman under her are very rude, and your child will not be properly taken care of. My son wasn't even there two weeks. During that time he was sent home covered in his own feces and just so much more. Do not take your children to this daycare.

Despite the terrible previous comments. This is a terrific place with an amazing honest owner who genuinely cares about the well being of the children. My daughter is 3 and has gone there since she was 6weeks old. This is a great place!! We love Mrs Jeanie and Mr Kevin!

We are in the business of keeping people's children so that they can work a job. It is always with much thought and consideration before we dismiss a child. That, however, has to be done from time to time. Some of our grounds for dismissal are lack of payment, an overly aggressive child that hurts others, excessive biting, etc. When children are enrolled parents are given a parent handbook that they are to read and adhere to. We even ask for signed confirmation that this handbook has been read with the signature constituting agreement. It seems that majority of negative reviews come from parents of dismissed children. Example being the negative review prior to this posting. Their child was placed on notice that we would have to dismiss them if we could not get their little one's aggressiveness calmed down. The child had begun to hurt others. This resulted in the family looking for care elsewhere. We love children, but at the end of the day, we must operate as a business.
