Beautiful park but some of the restrooms were locked. Had to walk what felt like a mile to get to another restroom.

Pleasent and clean. I enjoy having a place like this to retreat from the city environment. I'd love to manage a park like this. The park is well maintained, but as a lover of such areas there are a few things I'd do to improve it. The staff i encountered was a bit rude, but I enjoyed myself.
Nice place to take children to play and get excercise. Would be even better if there wasn't bums all over the park & sleeping on picnic tables with beer bottles everywhere. My sister & I walked the trail around the park one day & a man was sitting by a tree with a needle in his arm. Watch your children closely of you do take them out there.
The park was descent; however, the City Parks and Recreation Dept failed to leave the bathroom facilities opened for our community event. We paid for the pavilion in advance and no one answered the phone when we tried numerous times to contact them regarding this matter. Our group had to go to convenience stores to use the restrooms. Although, this is the only complaint; it was a major complaint. It was also embarrassing as we invited several guests to join us at the park just to send them to a convenience store to use the restroom. I hope this was just an oversight on this department and not the normal way they handle citizens' reservations. Had facilities been cleaned and available, my review would have been 4 or 5 star. Unfortunately, I will have to rate this visit as a one (1) star.
