What Parents Say
Barrio Logan Child Development Center receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents praising the caring and empathetic staff, strong parent-teacher communication, and nurturing environment. However, one critical review raises serious safety concerns about pickup procedures and staff management issues.
I normally don't do too many reviews but I wanted to, particularly because I've been so happy with the way my baby has been cared for. I was hesitant at first because of how protective I am with my girl and how little she is. With how great the women at the facility are with the kids in general and how involved and empathetic they are towards them, the children have a good learning environment. I feel so secure knowing my daughter is in a good place. Of course all of the staff there is great but my daughter in particular is always talking about Ms. Angela. It makes me feel good knowing how excited she is all the time to go to school.
I recommend this preschool to anyone that wants to have their child be in an environment that makes you feel like family. They go above and beyond to help find resources. I met the team at Barrio CDC under unusual circumstances when I took on the care of my niece and nephew. Since day one they helped me with their developmental and emotional needs and made me feel like part of their family.
Very good place, my baby has been studying here for a year now and they have treated him very well and my baby feels very comfortable here, 100% out of 10
This place should be closed!! They let me pick up my nephew without identifying me. This is scary since I could have been anyone picking up a child!!! The ladies at the front desk are all on their cell phones not doing their job including the director. The “director” is very rude and one sided. I was shocked to see the director with an Ash Wednesday cross on her forehead, what happen to separating church and state? Not here. The center also has a high turn over rate with teachers because they keep firing everyone when in actuality the front desk staff should be the ones to go or closed this site permanently. The children are always in the care of different people never getting consistency. Do not proceed taking your child here.
This place is bad. The poor teachers do a lot the dictors always on the cell phone put down the teachers and staff down no help at all. This place needs to be close for reals so bad and not good at all. They don't care about the kids at all. Trust me I was there to help omg sooooo bad ughhh
