Barrington Academy

My child has been attending Barrington Academy and we’ve had a wonderful experience. The staff is caring, attentive, and truly dedicated to the kids. The facility is always clean, organized, and safe. I’ve noticed positive growth in my child’s learning and social skills since enrolling. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment.

Barrington Academy is not all bad. Some of the staff is super nice! Like Ms Wanda who is in the front. She has a nice personality and its always pleasant. My daughter attends the before and after school care for kids. The afternoon lady Shannon is a total pain. She has her picks and choices of who she will speak to and interact with. I personally don't get a hello or have a nice day. Unacceptable when she is the first point of contact walking through the door. My daughter seems to love Barrington overall. I would say see for yourself. Your experience may be different than mines.

My children have been coming here for 5 years and I’ve always had good experiences. The morning staff is always friendly and happy to see you and the kids, mrs. Teresa and Mrs. Wanda have the best personality’s and always sweet. The teachers are always great and my kids are well taken care of and learn a lot. The afternoon teachers are great also and Mrs. Shannon is always friendly enough, she likes to talk about her problems and the other staff. She was asking the parents to write a review for her, so I am but it’s a honest one. Not only is it unperfessional it’s immature!

i have been a parent of Barrington students now for over three years. I have enjoyed the staff and how my children feel right at home every day for after care and for the summers. They have learned to swim and have met some great friends there as well. what i really appreciate is the secure feeling i get from the staff. From Theresa and from Shannon. Especially Shannon because i see her every day i pick up my kids. She not only let me know the status of my kids as soon as I come in the door she gives me a call as a heads up if anything has went wrong. her attention to all the students is remarkable. Her customer service is impeccable especially dealing with parents who approach her with attitude and distain due to whatever personal issue they may have going on. The way she deals with all the parents are amazing especially with dealing with children and staff all day long. I have nothing but the upmost respect for the staff of Barrington Academy.

Absolutely love this daycare! Love the environment and love the ladies who work there; they all treat my kiddos as family and as if they were their own. My boys absolutely love Miss Shannon and Miss Tracey; my 3 year old and 1 year old both make it a priority to give their hugs and kisses goodbye to both every single day! Miss Tracey has such a kind heart and Miss Shannon is one of the sweetest you’ll meet there!!! 🤗
