My husband and I have had our son here since he was about 8-weeks old and we have had nothing but positive experiences. I feel that my son comes home happy and healthy and the daily reports are so informative and great. Even if he has a bad day and wants to be held, I find that he is usually in the arms of one of the staff. The staff are welcoming and friendly and work really hard to provide a great service. Truly at peace knowing my child is well taken care of.

The staff are wonderful as far as teaching and the kids go but they are HORRIBLE to the parents. They look at you like you killed their dog when you walk in. When you say “Hello” or “Good morning”. They don’t speak back and keep looking at you rudely. Teachers will talk at you, not to you. The current director is just pure mean. She is the rudest of them all. She makes you feel unwelcome. Curriculum is wonderful as long as you have a tough skin when it comes to the front desk staff and the infant room teachers.
My son learned and developed a lot during his time at Barbara Jordan Preschool. However, they did have a VERY high turnover rate with teachers & directors. I would still consider sending my daughter because of how well prepared my son was for kindergarten after attending Barbara Jordan Preschool.
