Ballston Children'S Center

BCC has made a big difference in my daughter's development. In just over 7 months she surprises us every day when she comes home from school and tells us enthusiastically about everything she has learned. The school has a team of extremely qualified and experienced professionals who offer diversified activities, always focusing on student learning and development in all cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. My husband and I noticed the evolution of our daughter, both in the polite, respectful, and affectionate way she establishes her communication, as well as in her cognitive performance, demonstrated by the comprehension, reading, and writing activities carried out at school. The team is also concerned with integrating the family and students into the school environment, inviting parents, whenever possible, to participate in activities together with their children, thus creating memories and affective bonds that the children carry throughout their lives. I recently highlighted the yoga class, where parents were able to share healthy and fun moments with their children. Another moment of great satisfaction was the creation of cards for the celebration of Valentine's Day. In this activity, my daughter was able to write the names of all her friends on individual cards made by her, as well as being able to read each name she had written. Too beautiful! Thank you BCC team. The Ballston Children's Center is perfect for families who are concerned about the development and well-being of their children.

We have had such a wonderful experience at Ballston Children's Center. Our son started attending when he was two and a half and has thrived in his time at BCC. He absolutely loves the performances that his class does for parents - and it is so fun to watch him sing and dance! We love that BCC has a huge shaded playground and that they prioritize getting the kids outside as much as possible. They also participate in many other fun activities like yoga and have performers come in to do shows for the kids. We are so sad to leave, but are forever thankful for our time here and the wonderful care that our son received.

Both of my daughters recently attended BCC. We are so lucky to find such a caring environment for our children. The teachers are exceptional and prepared both of my children for kindergarten. They also built confidence in my children through performances for parents that included singing, dancing, and acting. Spanish and yoga were offered as part of optional enrichment classes. My daughters formed wonderful bonds with their classmates and learned how to build healthy and happy relationships. We are so sad to leave the daycare with our last child. I would highly recommend this school to any family in the area!

Our daughter attended BCC from the time she was 2.5 until she started kindergarten this August. We found the school based on neighbors' rave reviews, and we could not have been happier. Our girl LOVED going to school here -- the teachers were so friendly and kind, and they have so many activities for the students. She especially loved how they often had "shows" where students did plays and dances -- a real treat for her and for us! Her last year was great prep for kindergarten, with a lot of early literacy and math work -- she's able to write her name and other simple words, and knows her letters and sounds very well. Their prices are very reasonable for the area, and I especially appreciate that they offered 2 and 3 day a week options, and were always really flexible with changes; I work in higher education, and so my flexible schedule means I only needed her in daycare three days a week, and so few other schools would even consider that. My daughter misses BCC so much that she always asks to walk by it, and it always feels good to know your kiddo is so happy at school. I'd suggest them to any parent, as we felt like part of a family at BCC.

We've sent two children to Ballston Children Center, and both of them had wonderful experiences. The staff is warm and care deeply about the kids in their charge. Our youngest, in particular, got a lot out of the school's theatrical performances—they helped him build confidence and find comfort in his own skin. Our oldest built lasting friendships from BCC that he's carried into elementary school. We've been so grateful for this place over the past five years.
