What Parents Say
Note: This facility is a mosque (religious community center), not a daycare. Reviews consistently praise the welcoming community atmosphere, knowledgeable and kind leadership, and clean facilities. Parents/congregants highlight the spiritual support and sense of family found at this mosque.
Badr Masjid has a warm and welcoming environment, with kind and helpful community members who make visitors feel at ease. The sense of community is truly commendable. However, the building would benefit from more attention and renovation, as the parking area is not well paved and could be improved for better accessibility and safety.
I would have gave 5 stars, but i only gave 3 and that too because of Imam of the masjid. I was going here for almost 6 years now ever since i moved here. Masjid is great and so is the Imam. Today 12.26.25 (Friday) i went here with my 2 kids to pray Jum'ma and it was 2nd prayer. I drove in and was asked to wait until the 1st prayer was done, so that when someone gets out of the parking i can park in their spot, so i waited. Imam's son asked me to park in a spot on the side of the wood barn and i asked if it was okay to park here and he said yes. So i parked there and got my 2 kids out of the car and this was seen by both the Imam's son and the guy who was guiding the traffic and i went in to pray. After a few minutes Imam's son came to ask me to move my car and i went out to move my car and the same guy who was guiding traffic starts yelling at me for parking there and i tried to explain it to him why i parked there and if i wasn't allowed to park there, then he could have asked me to stay in my car until i find a parking and then go in, but he didn't do that, so i asked him to speak to me normally instead of yelling and he puts his hands close to my face and tells me this is not yelling, you want to see yelling? and he started SCREAMING his lungs out and told me to leave the Masjid and do ever come back here, so as a human being i reacted and try to prove that it wasn't my fault to begin w. and i was co-operating with w.ever they were telling me to do in the 1st place. while we are arguing, this other bald guy comes and starts defending the guy who was guiding traffic and i tell him to stay out of it because you don't know what is going on and he kept putting himself in the middle and starts a whole new argument with me. I go in the Masjid to get my kids and leave and this bald guy who wanted attention starts telling me to move my car when i didn't even have enough space to move it and kept walking next to my car window intentionally. I make a u-turn in the Masjid parking lot and trying to go out and was speaking to 1 of my son and the same bald guy kept walking next to my window and trying to get my attention and when i do i tell him to get the hell out of here and he flips out, trying to open my car door and wants to fight me, so i get out of the car as well and everyone gets involved and i drive off after wards. By the way i have all of this RECORDED and can prove it as well. Just because you know people who run the Masjid does not give you right to dis-respect others and this is not what Islam teaches you. I will not be going back to this Masjid and i will let everyone in my family know as well not to go there because if you can't control these people with their attitude there won't be a Masjid to go to and you will get people who do not want to bring their families there either. My kids witnessed this situation (it was their day off from school and wanted to teach them to go to Masjids to pray) and these 2 guys had no SHAME and afterwards my kids did ask questions and i did answer them and let them know to stay away from people like these and these are the kind of people who make the Masjid look bad and give it a bad reputation. The bald guy i never saw before in my almost 6 years going to this Masjid, but i always saw that African American guy. Imam is nice and Masjid too.
A mosque that follow’s the Quran and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Sahaba, The imam is very kind and sincere when he advises the Muslims of the community, May Allah bless him.
