I have nothing but great things to say about this daycare!!! The staff at Aunt Kathy's is excellent- attentive, caring and sweet! Kathy knows all of the children and has a close relationship with each and every one. The rates are extremely reasonable for the amount of personal care that all of the children (and babies!) receive. Highly recommend this daycare!
I felt really good about this daycare when I toured it but we didn't make it through the first week. On the first day, the director informed me she fed my 3 month old early and asked if that was okay. I told her that per her doctor we keep her on schedule. She argued a bit but I didn't engage. Received an email telling me I was apparently rude. My new baby's feeding schedule is up to me, not the director, and I was not rude in asking them to stick to it. They also wrote her name (spelled wrong) in toxic sharpie on her sheets and blankets, things that can and do go in her mouth. It was directly on them, not on the tags. I was not informed of this practice beforehand and asked them not to continue that with her items, that I would label them. Also apparently rude. Thank goodness I didn't bring her with the quilt her grandmother made her as it would now be ruined. Her new daycare was appalled when I told them about this and showed me that they label on masking tape (the more common, less destructive, and less toxic way). I was treated very disrespectfully here. If anyone wants screenshots of emails or photos, feel free to reach out. I know how important it is to find a respectful, trustworthy daycare for our little ones and just want to warn parents in advance that the care and health of your child here is up to Kathy, not you.
Our son truly loves being at this place during the week! The staff is very attentive and accommodating, they truly care about our children and it shows.
I love Aunt Kathy's!! They have amazing teachers and my children look forward to going there each day.
I'm international students and my kids have no family here in ky but this day care let them feel that they're still in their country by treating them fairly. Thank you very much for everybody there
