What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Atelier Preescolar for its nurturing, creative environment and dedicated, caring teachers. The Spanish immersion program is highly valued, and children show strong academic and social development with individualized attention. Parents report children are happy, engaged, and excited to attend.
Our daughter has been at Atelier for three years, and it has been an amazing experience. Her teachers are excellent, they are very caring and treat the kids with so much love. They are also very qualified and make sure that the students are learning all the necessary skills. They also communicate promptly if needed and give periodic reports. We also love the small classes and that they spend a lot of time outside (weather permitting). Our daughter has made a lot of friends. Also, the Spanish immersion is great. Our household language is Spanish, and our daughter has thrived. We’ve also seen first-hand how the other English speaking kids have learned so much Spanish. We only have good things to say about Atelier.
I am absolutely thrilled with the experience my child J has had at Atelier Preescolar! From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that the Atelier places a strong emphasis on fostering a creative and nurturing environment. The director and the teachers are incredibly dedicated, skilled, and truly care about each child’s development. They balance fun and learning so well, allowing children to explore, grow, and feel confident in their abilities. If you are looking for a preschool in Southwest Austin, don’t look more.
Atelier has been a second home for my two daughters, and I am incredibly grateful for the love, care, and support they received from the director and teachers. It’s a place where children are truly nurtured, and I always felt at ease knowing my girls were in such a warm and caring environment. Pros: 1)The director has an amazing intuition for hiring kind and loving teachers. I never once doubted that my daughters were in the best hands. 2)Mrs. Susana’s open communication was something I really valued—she was always available and willing to connect whenever needed. Cons: 1)The main reason we left was due to the school’s closure schedule. Unfortunately, we no longer have the flexibility to accommodate the number of weeks the school is closed. We would have loved to stay otherwise! 2)Since Atelier is a smaller school, there are also some limitations when it comes to resources. Despite these factors, we had a wonderful experience at Atelier, and I highly recommend it to families looking for a loving and supportive preschool environment!
Both of our children now attend school here. It is not just daycare, it is school. Our 3 1/2 year old daughter started there at 18 months. They were excellent in working with us to plan her transition from being at home with a nanny to all day at school. Her Spanish is better than mine and when I really want her to do something, I say it her in Spanish. That is a testament to how well they run the school and manage the kids on a day to day basis. They focus on manners and being a good person as well as the academic part of their learning. I am excited to see how well our son, who is 18 months does there. It may not look fancy, but just like a Church, it the people, not the building that makes it special.
My daughter has been going to Atelier for about two years now and it has been a wonderful experience. The teachers are so kind and loving she absolutely loves going. They also get a lot of individualized attention which isn’t always common. She has learned a lot of Spanish and made a lot of great friends. She’s gotten many birthday invites and opportunities for play dates outside of school. I would highly recommend sending your child here.
