Situated in rural Southwest Mississippi, Alcorn State University is truly an "Academic Resort". The campus itself is beautiful! Rolling hills, beautiful landscape, and amazing buildings; including the Oakland Chapel which serves as a worship center and museum! The campus is so rich with history. By far, one of the best kept secrets in Mississippi.
Alcorn's campus is magnificent. It is a piece of heaven on earth. Anyone interested in a top notch programs while being in a beautiful place, then this is the place for you.
I went to Alcorn in 1987, right out of high school! I ended up transferring but ASU Braves will always have my heart and be the college I always claim! There is no other!
