My experince as a non member was not good. A few times a year, grief hits me hard. For reasons, I dont want to go into churches. But I maintain my own relationship with God. I parked 2 spots from the exit so I dont interfere. Who i can only assume is an employee asked if I needed help I said no. I let her know I was just there to remember a friend. And without hesitation she scowled this is private property and essentially shood me away. Probably holds a good service tho!

We've been at Aston Pres now for two years and love it so much that when our second daughter was born we signed her up for the toddler room at 3 weeks old, just because we wanted to make sure she was on the list and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Every teacher has been nothing short of amazing, My daughter is obsessed with all things outer space, so she walked into the classroom one day, to see that they had taken her photo, and made her a nearly life-sized astronaut version of herself on the bulletin board. It made her entire year. We've been through the toddler room for a summer with Mrs. M, Preschool with Mrs Focht and now PreK with Mrs. Miller. My daughter loves all the opportunities to do play-based learning. It's incredible what she's learned: writing, reading, sign language, science, math, social skills, arts, everything under the sun and all in ways that she just thinks are playing with friends. I was hesitant to even take a tour, thinking it was going to be some church basement daycare. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that every classroom is flooded with natural light, and there's great outdoor play space, and even little field trips to the surrounding woods for nature adventures. I'm almost sad for my daughter to be growing up and heading onto Kindergarten this September, because we love Aston Pres so much!

Great.... then horrible! Main teacher seemed to be great. We really enjoyed our child going to this daycare, being well taken care of then things changed. I was never greeted in the morning with more than a face down hello but no real acknowledgment, and my child was never greeted but in the same way. Yet other children came in and it was OH!! (name) so glad you are here today, my favorite girl! Love the sparkles on your shirt! While my child was IGNORED completely. Then it turned into saying certain things to her that she would tell me at home that were inappropriate, such as "you keep eating that and you will be fat". WHAT? One teacher was willing to tell me that she thought my daughter was AUTISTIC. First off, that's illegal, you are never allowed to diagnose a child nor talk to a parent about it. I said well my child does some funny things, what was she doing? Crawling around acting like a cat and smacking her face. I said well she is probably bored. Then because she doesn't like taking naps, and they do not give them anything to do during nap (no matter how many times you say you do, you don't) they decided to lay their legs on TOP of my daughter to make her lie down. My daughter was petrified of this teacher when she came home. We talked alot about it and I went in the following day to talk to the Director and she immediately jumped down my throat denying everything. She wasn't even there! She told me she would look into it and let me know and never called, emailed or followed up. A few days later I asked another teacher if she was in during nap and asked her about the situation and she told me it did happen. The teacher sat on a chair (bc she's old) and put her legs over my child bc she was "playing with herself". WHAT? So I gave my notice and they refused my daughter drinks at lunch for 2 days until I went in and in front of the teachers said, I don't care what anyone says you drink your drink today, they have a problem with it tell them to call me. Miracle enough she had a drink! I really thought I was safe sending my child to a church day care. I was sadly mistaken. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE! And yes I have great connections within the early childhood education system, so you WILL be hearing from them. Promise that! You should take care of the children, that's what you get paid for!

My son went here for school and Pre-k and we were very happy with the staff, the curriculum and the price. The only downfall was the waiting list. Definition recommended.
