We picked up fish fries on a Friday in Lent (which are carry out only now). We called and the recording said we could call in our order, but I called 3 times and no one answered the phone. So we ordered and paid online which was ok. When we arrived the orders were ready. The fish was really good and so were the perogies and coleslaw.
Not many people going to mass these days but you can sit socially distant and there is no hand shaking during the sharing of piece. The Christmas Alter was beautiful.
3/1/24: Went there for their Fish Fry. It was well organized & having arrived early, the plentiful seating was filling up by the time we left. I got the fish, my dinnermate got the crab cakes. Both were satisfied although I've had tastier fish.
I have been a parishioner here for 58 years. The Church has gone through some difficult phases, but is coming out of the COVID restrictions nicely, and attendance/support is rising again. Newly updated to be more traditional and aesthetically pleasing, I believe that the Church feels much more welcoming than it ever has. The Academy is getting excellent academic marks and I am seeing the growth of young families, which is always wonderful to see.
