I was really impressed by how well the parking lot and the sidewalk were cleared after the snow storm this weekend. Many public places clear just well enough to be useable, but the Ys was clear just about to perfection, and better than anyone else's I've seen in town. My 3 year old daughter is in the preschool 1 gymnastics class and she loves it! They have students teaching them and they all did so good. The student teachers were patient and professional and all the preschoolers were comfortable with them.
4-yr old boy in summer camp and preschool: We are so happy with the culture, safety and education. My son is excelling, learning things that hadn't even crossed my mind at his age. He is so proud to share what he's learning everyday. Wonderful experience.
It's a good place to keep the kids active .
The YMCA overall is wonderful. However the elderly pickleball crew will take over the entire court like they own the place even during open gym times, not just pickleball times. I have never met a more rude, entitled group of people in my life. Took my son in for open gym to shoot some hoops and the geriatric pickleballers dragged their nets right into where we were playing (on a partial half court while the other side was completely open) and then told US to move. The pickleball crew thinks they own the place. The sense of entitlement is astonishing. Break a leg folks, literally.
