What Parents Say
Arlington Area Child Care Inc receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents praising the caring and dedicated staff, nurturing environment, and child development. However, one parent reported serious concerns about medical protocol non-compliance and negligent handling of their child's type 1 diabetes care.
We’ve had a truly wonderful experience with Arlington Area Child Care. Both of our children attend, and from day one, it was clear they were in a nurturing and enriching environment. The teachers are exceptional! Not only do they provide excellent care, but they also genuinely bond with the children. They don’t just watch them-they teach them, guide them, and truly love them. We’ve seen so much growth in both of our kids, and it brings us real peace of mind knowing they’re surrounded by such dedicated, compassionate professionals.
Our family loves Arlington Area Childcare! The staff is caring and creates a fun, supportive atmosphere where kids can learn and grow. I feel confident knowing my child is in such great hands. The teachers are not just caring but also dedicated, which makes a big difference! Thank you for creating such a fun and educational environment for our children. -The Gerity Family
My nephew goes here and he loves it. I like that they send you updates all day on your child and activities they do throughout the day. UPDATE: My daughter has attended AACC since she was 6 weeks old. The staff treats you like family. You can tell they all love what they do! My child is safe, loved and well cared for by the whole team and they always keep you up to date on their daily routine/activities which helps keep my separation anxiety at ease! Thank you for all you guys do for Athena! It means more to me than you know!
I absolutely love this daycare.! My kids have been going there for over a year and I couldn’t ask for a better staff. If there’s any issues ginelle will RESPECTFULLY pull me aside or message me. The teachers are amazing.! The work and progress I see in my kids .. they also give me tips of what to try at home with them.! Ginelle even helped me get my son’s appointment to get tubes.!!! Ginelle and the rest of the staff are under appreciated by some people..! They really do try their hardest and I couldn’t be anymore thankful to have you guys taking care of my kids during the day.!! My kids are happy in school.! I’ve been greeted with nothing but respect from them. So again.!! Thank you to AACI for being the best possible fit for my kids.!! You guys do amazing.!! ❤️
Staff is extremely neglectful, and incompetent. The “Director” Ginelle ignored medical plans and emergency prevention protocol provided by my son’s doctor for his type 1 diabetes. This facility sent him into NUMEROUS medical emergencies all due to her and her staffs lack of effort and compliance. Ginelle speaks unprofessionally, is rude to concerned family members. During the last medical emergency that was a direct result of the facility not following his medical plan she hung up on numerous family members checking in unsure of his medical status, telling me she “can’t deal with me right now” and eventually just stopped answering the phone. I immediately left work to go get my son and upon arrival Ginelle wouldn’t speak to me. After reporting her yet again, I received a phone call that night at 9pm, with barely 10 hours notice before the next school day that the board had decided to wrongfully suspended my son from school due to her lack of being able to comprehend his basic medical needs, they decided her care was unsafe. Yet she still gets to go to work every day and be responsible for these children she is failing. This is just one of the MANY medical emergencies this facility has caused my son. Since, he has started a new school with the exact same medical plans she was provided and that she blamed for her negligence and he has not had one single hiccup in his needs since being there. He has actually been doing the best that we have seen in a very long time. I write this with only the hope that no other children with medical needs like my son fall into the hands of such negligent and incapable staff. The outcome here could have been much worse.
