Unfortunately they are not able to do what they should because of funding issues. While it's not their fault the service isn't what I would like to see. If the government would give the funding they should we might be able to get the services we need.
Area Five is a great place for help. You can sign your child up for Head Start there. See if you qualify for energy assistance etc. The elder population sign up for housekeeping, cooking, elder/disabled care etc. They have their own lunch they serve at the facility. There are probably more things they offer that I am not aware of. Wonderful people!!
I'm so upset with area 5 that I doubt if me or all the people I referred to area for services will return. I have friends who depend on every cent they get to to pay their bills. I encouraged people to go there to get their taxes done. Every one of them have called me area. Thanks Area Five.2 1/2 months later I get an audit from IRS. Guess what your new tax people errored. Never a problem till you changed people.Didn't you get in trouble once before just curious why you changed.
This is for the Wabash office of preschool. Awful. No where to park, they r never on time to work, they r never prepared for work, they r rude, yell at kids, and the only teacher that's any good at all is Mrs Klein. Wouldn't take my kid here EVER! Family chose this mess. And u have 10 minutes to drop 20 kids off in a 10 person parking lot they share with energy assistance so 20 parents on a 5 person parking lot. Stupid
