Both of our kids have gone to Arbor, and we honestly can’t say enough good things about the school. Our oldest graduated last year and is now in first grade. She’s excelling in reading and math, and we really credit Arbor’s practical and thoughtful approach to early learning for that. They did such a great job preparing her, especially with reading. Our younger one is still there now in preschool and already starting to read well ahead of where we’d expect. It’s amazing to see how much confidence she’s building at such a young age. We started with Arbor during COVID, and they handled that challenging time with so much care, for both the families and the teachers. You could tell they really prioritized their staff, which shows even now with how consistent the teaching team has been over the years. Low turnover in early education is rare, and having the same wonderful teachers year after year has meant so much for our children's comfort and growth. Working with Tammy has been great too. She’s always responsive, kind, and proactive whenever we’ve had questions or needed anything. She’s also done a fantastic job fostering a real sense of community among the parents. It’s a school where people genuinely want to help and get involved. We’ve absolutely loved our experience at Arbor Montessori. It’s been such a positive place for both our kids, and we feel very lucky to have found it!
Arbor Montessori has been incredible for our family. We have loved it so much. I researched Montessori schools for a year before choosing them. I wanted to find the right place for our boys, and I am so glad we went with Arbor. When researching I saw that so many families loved this school and read that their teacher turnover was low. Our boys have made so many friends and we, in turn, have done the same. The teachers really care about the kids. I would sometimes walk up to the playground at the end of the day to see my son giving a huge hug to a teacher and they both looked so genuinely happy. Seeing something like that as a parent puts you at ease knowing that your kids are in good hands and are truly cared for. Even after my eldest went to Elementary he still talks about how he misses his Arbor teachers (though he also loves his Kinder teacher). He still cares about them so much. Both my boys blossomed at Arbor and learned so much at the same time. The teachers are so kind and are so good with the kids. We highly recommend Arbor Montessori to anyone and are so fortunate to be part of the Arbor Family.
We have had three children attend Arbor Montessori for the last few years and they love it! Our eldest child flourished and learned so much that we kept him at Arbor through kindergarten as well. He was more than prepared for his first grade experience in public school and is considered a class leader despite his younger age. His younger brothers are currently still at Arbor and look forward to going every weekday. The teachers and staff are consistent and have been incredibly supportive and sweet with our kids. The other parents and families we’ve met have also been wonderful. Our kids come home with new skills and gained independence that we know were developed through Arbor’s guidance, which we so appreciate.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Arbor to any family looking for a school that values stability, kindness, academic excellence, and a true love of learning. Arbor is a place where children thrive, and we are grateful to have been part of such a special community. Our family was part of the Arbor community for many years. Our son attended from 2018 to 2023 and completed kindergarten there, and our daughter attended from 2021 to 2025. Looking back, I can confidently say that Arbor has been nothing short of phenomenal. When we were searching for a school, I had three major priorities. First, I wanted a place with a stable, dedicated staff. When reading through the teacher bios on Arbor’s website, I was immediately impressed. Most of the teachers had been with Arbor for years, sometimes decades. That kind of consistency is rare, and it gave me reassurance that my children would be cared for by experienced, committed educators. Second, I was looking for a balanced curriculum grounded in a thoughtful methodology. I had never been familiar with Montessori before, but as I learned more, I became excited about the opportunities for independence, exploration, and deep learning. Arbor brought that philosophy to life in the most beautiful way. Finally, I wanted an environment that encouraged play and discovery. So many daycare or preschool settings feel cold or restrictive, with little more than concrete yards and small patches of green. Arbor was the complete opposite. It was warm, inviting, and designed for children to explore, learn, and thrive. One of the most defining parts of our experience was navigating COVID with the Arbor team. Their approach during that time showed their true character. They adapted quickly and thoughtfully, always keeping children’s emotional and academic needs at the center of every decision. They also retained their entire staff throughout the pandemic, which speaks volumes about their leadership, loyalty, and commitment to the people who make Arbor what it is. The impact Arbor made on my children is undeniable. Our son, now in third grade, is currently testing at a fifth and sixth grade level. We know that Arbor’s strong educational foundation played a major role in that. Our daughter, who left the school over the summer to begin kindergarten, started her new school year already reading confidently. Beyond academics, Arbor nurtured their confidence, independence, and curiosity. My children felt safe, cared for, and deeply connected to their teachers. Their faces lit up every day on the way to school, and that joy is something I will always associate with Arbor. We all miss the staff dearly. It was clear every single day how much they cared for and loved my kids, and that love was wholeheartedly returned. We will always be grateful for the years we spent with Arbor. They helped shape who our children are today, and for that, we are forever thankful.
My family has been part of the Arbor Montessori Community from 2019 through 2025. Our children attended from ages 1-5, through both the toddler and primary programs. The school has been a wonderful fit for our family and our daughters absolutely flourished there. From the beginning, we saw how their Montessori approach nurtured independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. I appreciated the balance of work and outdoor playtime that is provided. The children can spend hours outdoors allowing them to connect with the nature, learn about gardening, seasons/weather, science, and bugs in ways that are meaningful and fun. There’s a dedicated focus on community, service, and learning about different cultures. Our children explored traditions, languages, and customs from around the globe, helping them appreciate diversity and develop empathy. My kids graduated from Arbor extremely well prepared for Kindergarten- academically, socially, and emotionally. The school is well managed, with great communication, and teacher turnover is almost non-existent. Having the same, well-experienced, teachers for several years provided a stable and loving environment. We’re grateful to have found Arbor Montessori and the experience has been nothing but positive!
