Have helped me for years now. Computer goes down, you can always come to the library and use there’s. If you’re not sure how to do something with a computer, they are always there to help. Excellent selection of books, DVD, and games. They have a great selection of books for sell and they have a few books that are free. If I am in town, you can find me at the library!!!
Nice library. Not as small as one might think. The librarians were professional and helpful. The reason for my visit was to use the computer to sort thru email and make a couple printouts. There were a number of computer workstations provided and I used one. The workstation was in a comfortable space and equipped with a fairly new Windows PC. Most of my tasks were accomplished online and I was impressed with the network speed. I'm not sure if they have any computers running a different OS, but since they seem to place importance on the technology they provide, I think it's entirely possible. Honestly, before I visited I wasn't expecting too much. I thought I'd run into technical difficulties but I didn't have any problems at all and was pleasantly surprised. My visit ended up being much more productive than I originally thought and my overall experience was very positive. I highly recommend this library.
They ladies working there was very nice I needed to use the printer bc mine I have trouble finding the ink my son needed this paper for college printed off it cost 25¢ each copy I used their computer to log into my email!! I did have a library card from years ago I heard them talking saying last time I came in was many many years ago. Some nice guy working on the bathroom sink when I came in he smiled at me think he works for city of Arab but at least everyone was nice! Arab has a nice library I was shocked it was so nice! I didn't remember what it look like inside.
This library is in my town it's quite small and is a non-profit facility like most libraries that I know. That being said when your limited with your internet and you need a place to work or a place to do something for school or whatever benefits you as a person that's not illegal or in someone's face I feel like you should be able to use your public library to do such things. I was specifically told that I could not make phone calls to my clients for my job because it is for my personal gain in a non-profit facility. I'm pretty sure they would accept my donation if I wanted to donate to them though.
The Librarians were extremely knowledgeable & nice.
