When I first moved into the apartment complex, it was owned by Hubble realty. IF the complex was still owned by Hubble, this review would most likely be different. Since Indigo living took over, the complex has went right down the toilet. Trying to contact the leasing office is impossible unless you go to the office. I was told the preferred method of communication is email. Honestly, the best thing is to have things in writing so when you are told something they have to adhere to what the staff at leasing office tells you. Check your rental statement very close, as I was charged for renters insurance through the leasing office when I had a policy through a private insurance company. The best thing about the building I lived in was the neighbors I had, there is a real sense of community, it really is too bad that the office staff is subpar. You will pay for all utilities, including pest control. I lived there for five years before I moved to a different apartment and having a much better experience. The location of the apartment is fantastic, there is a lot of transit traffic through the parking lot. Please think very long and hard before signing a lease, the price might be right but you get what you pay for.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT LEASING FROM THIS PLACE!!! it was very poorly taken care of by management. we had a major german cockroach problem. We complained multiple times about the issue and little to nothing was done about it. they told us it was our fault about the roach problem even though we were VERY clean. they finally got a little better after i made a complaint to the city of sioux falls about the issue. it was hotter then crap in the apartment and the ac did nothing. the dishwasher barely worked. their was cops at the apartment very often. management was very disrespectful when we had a problem/question. we also told them we were leaving called them three times and they told us the manager would get back to us. we heard nothing for a week. when we finally got a hold of them they told us that it was our fault for not communication with them and we were lying which was not the cause at all. we threatened to take them to court because of the roach problem because of how much of a health hazard the roach were causing. we found them everywhere including our pantry where our food was stored. I DONT RECOMMEND RENTING FROM THEM.

My husband and I have lived here going on three years. It was better when we first moved in. Dylan who is now at Penbrooke Place across the street was wonderful remembered us even though we never had to go to the office because he and the maintenance crew made sure things were done. Now with the women now in the office (if you can even reach them) they make excuses as to why things can’t be done. They screwed up our lease signing last year and we are frankly fed up with everything. We do plan to move when our lease is up. It’s nasty and the maintenance has not had to do what they have had to do in the past. Keep up with the excuses ladies, people are eventually going to see what’s going on at these apartments and not going to stay. We miss how it use to be! Bring back Dylan!!

Honestly a really nice place to live. It’s quiet, well kept, and the staff is friendly and easy to work with, which makes a big difference.

Not the worst place in town but definitely not the best, either. I lived there for little over a year. Management is really hit or miss, depending on who helps you out. Dylan was the nicest and most helpful person at the leasing office. If I could rate just the maintenance crew they’d get a 5/5. Usually quick and fixed things well. Their main problem is that they’re owned by Hubbell, a company out of Des Moines. Don’t bother trying to call them ever with non-emergency maintenance issues-you’ll most likely be transferred to a call center that says they will send on your message, but I have no idea if they actually do since I’ve always had to follow up calls with emails. They used to be really good at communication but it wasn’t great the last few months I was there. It’s like pulling teeth to get updates or information at times. (I’m sure that is partially because of their corporate office.) The fire alarms in the building I was in would go off for no reason at times. It happened so often that most people just ignored the alarms and didn’t go outside anymore. Then back in January, something on the first floor broke in the middle of the night. The first floor was flooded and the entire building would be without heat until it got fixed. I understood these things happen in below freezing weather. My main gripe is that I moved in with my dad for a few days and had to actively ask to get any updates or information from the office. I ended up going back a day later than I could have since they didn’t bother to notify anyone by email or calls that the heating had been fixed. The people on the first floor had to completely move out for almost two months while everything got repaired. It then took several more months for any type of reimbursement to be issued to those affected. Absolutely unbelievable. I lived on the third floor and had to complain to get a credit for the few days I was gone. My apartment also wasn’t fully move in ready when I moved in. There was still the previous tenants dog pool on the patio and no blinds for the patio door. I asked to have blinds installed and I was told by the office that they would put in a ticket. Three weeks later, I had to remind them again and then it was installed the next day or so. Lastly, some of the residents in the area smoke weed daily so there’s always that smell outside and in the hallways. Edited to add that some of the 5 star reviews are from employees of the company.
