Apple Of My Eye Academy

I would like to Thank all the Directors and Administrators. Yesterday my heart dropped when I got a text message from my son's school asking me "Is my son ok, he is not at school." I went into a panic mode. I told the teacher no he should be at school. My son got picked at his daycare. They took a picture of him getting on the busand has the time when picked up. So I sent the picture that the "Director Mr.Anthony took"to the teacher. The teacher told me to give her a few minutes to locate him. I'm so grateful that they took a picture of my son, bus number, and bus driver! 10 minutes later she called me to tell me they found him. I'm so Grateful and Thankful that the daycare " Apple of my eye" was brilliant to take a picture and also to add it the app. If it wasn't for them they wouldn't be able to find him quick. It's absolutely brilliant and shows so much gratitude to the staff!!! They did a great job and should be told so they can keep doing it in the future!!!

I would like to express how much the Apple of my Eye means to me and my family. My daughter who was only 7 years old at the time now 15 and my son who was 6 weeks old now 6 years old have been in the care of the wonderful owners and staff for many years. The communication has never been an issue, the care and concern for my children has always felt like their #1 priority. The way my children love their teachers speaks volumes. My kids have learned so much and have enjoyed so many activities. I especially enjoyed the memories the staff has created with my children using pictures, their hands and even my son’s tiny feet that will last forever. I said all this to say I started a great new job in the Woodlands and even thought of relocating to avoid the long drive but when I thought of the possibility of never finding the Quality of people / service from the Apple of my eye I couldn’t find myself uprooting my son. Mr. Anthony and Mrs Erica and everyone else there just know you are loved and appreciated more then you know. Thank you so much for taking great care of my babies in my eyes you are priceless!

All my grandchildren went through this daycare they loved it they continued to see their daycare friends after now in middle school. the owners have a big heart to work with families our children were always protected and loved by the staff Highly recommend this place

If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. The teachers and the owners here are beyond amazing! They have the kids on a schedule in order to stick to the curriculum. I’ve noticed the teachers make the learning fun for the kids. Which I’ve seen personally and have noticed not just with my kids coming home excited to go back the next day. I have a 4 year who has been attending since she was 7 weeks old and she speaks and understands Spanish including sign language. My 9 year old started when she was 6 years old and now is fluent in sign language. The language in home is only English not Spanish or sign language. All the credit goes to this daycare. My kids have learned so much not just another language but also my 4 year is reading at an early age. The lunch is similar to what the schools serve down to the milk but with a home cooked way to it. The snacks are age appropriate. It’s the same what the kids get in school. There are times when the kids’ snack is a cupcake or cookie with a fruit. The Teachers and owners have great communication whether it be updates on policies, the monthly events and reminders about upcoming celebrations. They also send pictures, videos, and any updates of what the kids are doing and at what time during the day through an app called Brightwheel. The teachers and owners know each child personally including the parents by name. Although, the daycare has a fun and family type of atmosphere I do have to say the owners Mr. Anthony and Mrs. Erika are BIG on respect and manners. They not only teach the children manners and expect for manners to be used while in their care, but they also follow what they teach demonstrating thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and consideration to all children and their guardians. I recommend this daycare to anyone looking for childcare.

This place is a complete disaster, don't pay attention to all of the "positive" reviews. If this was ever a good place to take your children, now it isn't. It all starts out with the "owner" Anthony Cortez. Very disrespectful. He complains constantly about being disrespected when in reality it’s the other way around. Lead by example is a better way to go about it. Always with complete disregard of anything that you have to say. This guy is just looking out for the benefit of one person, himself. The building is falling apart and he DOES NOT want to make any repairs even if it's a hazard for all the children inside. Buckets are put out when it rains is how bad this place is. If you ask to see the whole building from inside you can see that the ceiling tiles have been replaced where the leaks are because a parent will go for a tour of the place . Would you really want to take your children there??
