I am reviewing as the grandmother of two kids (now ages 6 and 4) who attended Serendipity for 4 years each. What a wonderful school/childcare center. The teachers are caring, kind, and know all the kids and families well. As a grandparent who did frequent pick up and drop off, they quickly knew my name and always had a friendly greeting. The small enclosed rear yard gives the kids room to be outdoors. I feel fortunate that the grandkids had such a wonderful resource for so many years.
I had the best experience sending my toddler here! She looked forward to coming to school everyday and would constantly talk about her teachers and friends. All the teachers here are so kind and thoughtful, you can tell how much they love being there and appreciate each child’s personality. We miss Serendipity so much!
My review is based on my interaction w Jennifer, the director of the facility & the establishment itself. I’ve not yet secured a spot to have my daughter attend but when I do, I’ll be sure to update the review to share my experience. Jenn has been pleasant, communicative & responsive in my interactions with her. The daycare has a small family feel & they’re big on celebration holidays & events & decorating the halls. The backyard is secluded & gives the kids a great gated area to roam around & explore. The prices are also very reasonable & from what Jenn shared they’re open to tailoring their approach if a child has certain needs or the family is experiencing extenuating circumstances. So far I’m excited about the prospect of my daughter attending.
I absolutely love this daycare!! From management to staff. My daughter has been going for almost a year and shes obsessed with the staff. And of course all her friends. The location is so pretty artsy and bright. It's got such a great aura to it. The kids are happy, learning while playing. But what's best is the security. From the code in the front door. To the Ms Jenn having me call to confirm what I had written about my friend picking the baby up. It's all just a great and beautiful place. I'm forever thankful for everything they do for my daughter and for me.
Do not confuse this daycare with it's awful predecessor! My kids are happy and thriving at Serendipity. The director is amazing - she is onsite regularly and goes out of her way to make sure you know she's available for any questions or concerns. Also my kids LOVE her as well as many of the other wonderful teachers there. It may not have all the bells and whistles some of the other more expensive places have but my kids are constantly learning, creating fun arts and crafts, and having fun. Most of all, I know the teachers all care about them and the small scale of the place makes those relationships strong and they get a lot of individual attention.
